DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!

Work this out as you read .
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.
1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)
2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)
3. Add 5
4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 ..
If you haven't, add 1758.
6.. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.
You should have a three digit number
The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).
The next two numbers are
YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

Random Ramblings...
You know, every once and a while, if one has been around a bunch of smart people for the last month or so, one starts to suffer from an extremely large lack of randomness.
1st random thing: TONI AND BRIAN WON FIRST IN TEAM POLICY AT THE DEBATE TOURNAMENT!!!!
2nd random thing: Did I mention Toni is graduating, um.... I forget when, but really soon!
3rd random thing: Do you remember in my last post like this one, I mentioned 'Bob' our crwdad, and how he is an escape artist? Well, my dad got mad at him and threw him in the pool, kind of for fun (remember, he is a crawdad) about a month or two ago. The day we got home from the tournament, my dad had cleaned our pool, (Thanks Daddy!!!) And much to our dismay, Bob was back in his tank. (Most of our family don't like Bob. We were hoping for some big fish to put in the tank sowmone gave us, and we got stuck with Bob. Oh well.....)
4th random thing: I am going to try and post a video from the last tourney soon..

Oh- Before I forget, WE GET TO GO TO FASA (Fine Arts Summer Academy)!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch the video (at the website, I linked to it) I'm in it! Anyhow, we went to it last year, I just did violin. I HAD A BLAST!!! It was so much fun! It goes for about a week I think, and then at the end we did three performances. That's what the video is of. The sad part I don't like, is the fact that it ends. I made a lot of really really really good friends- and I haven't seen them for about a whole year. *sniff* I don't think anyone I met from last year are going this year, * sniff sniff * But guess what??? I will probably get to meet narnialover95(Taylor) and gelpenprincess (Hailey)!!!! WHOOPEE!!!!! I can't wait! I think the camp this year goes for 2 weeks, or around there, so that is even better than last year! The only thing worse is the price :-) Well, got ot go clean the house. Bye!

Music- part II
Hello everyone, did you miss me? Well, wether or not you did or didn't miss me, I'm home. It was so much fun! Toni got 1st place in Apologetics- (in which I got last place in all of my rooms) Beth and her debate partner Avery got 4th place in Team Policy Debate- (Me and Anna had fun debating- we won 2 debates, but lost the other 4 * sniff * ) Brian got 1st place speaker, (I think... and oh yeah, Brian is Toni's debate partner) I forgot what place they got in debate, but it was real neat,  KG and David got 2nd place in debate, and there were others... but I forgot them. In other words- everyone in ARC did great! (So did everyone else who is not in ARC though... ) Now onto the musicall portian of this post.
Alright, I have discovered the true meaning behind music. Music is not just a melody, played over in over in a different way with different harmonys- but music is a story. A story that tells the life of a friend, your life, or whatever you want it to be the story of. So, in my other post about writing music, I said that everyone has a song, and it annoys me when the never write it down, you may have thought- "I can't write music, and I don't have a song!!!" Welll- if you thought that, than let me ask you a question. Are you alive? Hopefully, yes. As I said earlier, music is the story of someone's life. Hence- anyone who thinks " I don't have a song!!! " is thinking, which obviously means, that they are alive, which means they have a story- which means, that they have a song. The impact of this, is that every life, has a story, every story, has a song. And the world would be a sad place, if people didn't take the time to write it. Thankfully, people do write music, but because of that, people copy. Its not wrong, its not bad, it just means, that there will be less and less music, that truely is- music, if people hear what other people write like, and try to copy, how they do it. I used to try and write music like other peoples music- And when it didn't turn out the same, I was depressed because I could no longer write music like a used too. Then I realized, that music is not supposed to sound like others, but music is the story, of your life. No one is exactly the same, hence, no music should be exactly the same. Anyways... I hope you enjoyed the post!

Farewell...
Well, the time has come. I must leave ye now, for my attention is now set upon greater things. I know ye will mourn over my departure, and aye, I will too, but let no tears keep us from doing what is right. Ye may be wondering, 'why is she leaving? And why is she speaking in olde English?' Well, my good friends, the truth simply is, that I am going to Arkansas, for a tournament. And I am speaking in olde English because it is great fun. No, I am not forever gone, ye will only have to do without me for about five days. Will ye be able to bear it? Five days without me? Surely, ye can, because ye must. At the tournament that I am leaving tomorrow for, I am competing in three events. The first of which is Apologetics. A delightful sport in which I take great pleasure in, for the main point of the speech, is proclaming your faith. The second event, is that of Interprative Speaking. I am presenting a book wirtten by my mother before I came into being. How she could of ever written so lovely a story without me there to help her, I will never know. But alas, I must stop these ramblings and get on to the next event, which is my favorite. It is called- Team Policy Debate. Here is a link to my partners blog- CLICK HERE to view it. Music writing... new discovery!!!
Hi ya'll... you know how I loooove writing music? All that just got better! If figured out a better way to do it!!! Well, to start out, I don't like listening to just 'a song' it has to have a story to go with it, otherwise, its boring. So... sadly, all of the songs I have ever wrote, where the latter I'm afraid. (Which means they didn't have a story :-) So, today, Hannah and Patti where being goofy annoying, and telling this wierd story about a dog. Inspired as usuall, I wrote a soundtrack to it. Random? Yes. Weird? No. A 'Katy-like' thing to do? definitly. the catch is that it didn't turn out very well- just made it easier to write :-) All you 'Nano-Wrimo' writers, it really helps to write your own soundtrack.. If you listen to someone elses, t doesn't have the effect. Everyone has there own song, and it annoys me when they never write it!!! Sorry- I'm getting carried away here... So yeah. It really helps to write your own soundtrack. I figured out why all my songs are depressing. depressing person- depressing stories- depressing music. Oay... I am starting to ramble... (Toni says all my posts are ramblings... I don't care. :-) So, get inspired! Write an orchestral arrangment for your book! Have I inspired you? I doubt it. Oh well. I tried :-)

St. Patricks Day!
Hi ya'll! I know St. Patrick's Day was yesterday- but we had so much fun posting this video, that I had to post it. But... I can't post it on HSB cause uh- to be honest, I can't figure it out. *Runs away and hides in shame, realizes that your waiting for the link, and runs back* So... if you want to see the video that we made, CLICK HERE If your wondering what its a video of... well, Abby, Josh, Beth, Toni, and my little sis Hannah and I were half randomly playing music together, and filmed it. And the video is the result. So yeah. St. Patricks day altogether- except for one more thing, we went to play tennis after that I think, and it was fun :-) I did the ripstick more than I played tennis though... oh well :-) bye!

Randomness...
First random thing: I have been walking around singing "life is a highway" for the past week or so.
second random thing: We bought a new hamster cage the day before yesterday or something... and they escaped again. My hamster (his- wait, her name is Alvin) is an escape artist. So is our crawdad, Bob.
third random thing: I have been blogging for over a year now!!!!
fourth random thing: I get to play violin in the recording of Josh's song that HE WROTE. It is sooo cool! Whats more.. he had to write it in 2 days. I would freak out. Josh is a VERY talented guy.
fith random thing: Have you ever tried playing a violin, cello, or viola in a bathroom? I have. Toni, Beth, Lydia, and I all practiced Josh's piece in the bathroom of our church :-)
sixth random thing: Bob, (our crawdad) Just ate my little sister's birthday present- a fish named sparkles. * sniff *
seventh random thing: I am inspired to write lyrics to a song.
There are a whole lot more random things- but if I tried to list them all, I would be here all my life. my life is random.

Just a thought-
Hello for the second time today! Anyways, I just had a thought. here goes.
Have you ever been in a fight or an argument with some one, when your mom or some one comes over and stops it. You act all inocent, and so the other person gets the punishment. Later on you fell guilty, and you wish that you really were inocent. So that is my goal. When I am in an argument, to really be inocent My goal is to not be like the other person that shouldn't be arguing, my goal is to stand ground, and not be the one that feels guilty for not getting punishments. I just thought I might share that with you, seeing as how I have been gone a lot and never post anymore...

Welll- on to the news part of my post. After we got back from New Mexico, we had to go to another tournement here in TX like, right after we got back. But it was really fun! I learned more at the last two tournements than I did at masters. (CFC) I learned how to flow, I learned how to 'orginize' my arguments, and I also got sick. So did like, every one else there. The people in the actual debate rounds were throwing up, and so were the timers. So it was kinda gross. I think it was the food that we ate the night before. Anyway- we are back from that tournement, and next wednesday we are going to another one! AGH! Speech and Debate is taking over my life! I like it though. Me and Ness are going to debate! Whoopeeee! I loooooove debating! I have a bad habbit of doing it when I'm not supposed to... I guess you would call it arguing  I have to go now- Toni, Beth, and I are playing music somewhere and have to go. Bye!

Okay so I admit its not the best... anyway... Congrats! On to the post.
Okay so Toni is really into this speech and debate thingy, so we are trying to go to every tournement we can. How do first born's get parents to take them to New Mexico for three days to sit in a bunch of boring debate rounds, I have no Idea. However, Toni is a first born, and my mom agreed.
So we are going to sit in the car for 13 hours... for a few boring debate rounds. But hey, it might snow there!!!
I figured as long as I was going to this tournement, I might as well compete! So I am competing too... and I need to memorize my speech. Why am I on here? I had to say good bye . My speech is sad... Its an interpetation of "The little Match Girl" *sniff sniff* She (the little girl) dies in the end.
Also I am doing Apologetics. EXAMPLE:
Answer the question "Do all men have a longing for God?"
That is my favorite one by the way. Then you would talk about your believes, why you believe that, and what the bible says about it. I like Apologetcs... its fun. Oh, did I mention you don't know your speech or what you will be talking about untill you draw your topiks??? Its scary. I have to go get ready for NM, we are leaving today... bye!

I'm Home...
Hi ya'll! We are home now, and I am really suprised that I am not that sad about it! Even though I had a great time... I found myself wanting to go home very badly, and I wasn't even homesick. Well, to sum it all up, me and Abigail, (my debate partner) Did horrible in debate, but we did okay in speech, both of which, we had a BLAST in!

Tournament!
Hello... Today is the debate tournament of CFC. I was really excited about it! I looove debating... Since though I am not good at it, I have been practicing debating with my sisters. Although it gets me in trouble some times... .
Today is also the costume banquet, and as I told you in the post before, we are going to be in the talent show that is at the same time -same place- So we get to do both! I like my costume, I think I am dressing up as either Lucy (from the Chronicals of Narnia) Or Awoen. (Lord of the Rings)
