Kids are so funny!
We're using Sonlight's Core 1 this year and also their new Language Arts program for 2nd grade. One of Taylor's LA assignments was to pick something and think of adjectives to describe it. Then the next day she had to take the adjectives and turn it into a paragraph. She chose to write about her Daddy. Here is her paragraph.
Dad is nice. Dad is tall and skinny. He smells good. At night time, when he is not at work, I sneak quietly into Mom and Dad's room. Then I lick his skin.
It tastes salty like sweat. His voice is regular. He feels hairy and firm.
Crazy kid! In her defense, the assignment did ask her to use all of her senses. That does include taste. Let's just hope that this is a 'made-up' story!
