A Champion of Kind Deeds
Well, I wasn't going to post any tonight but I wanted to get down in writing a positive trait I love about my daughter. She is always doing nice, thoughtful things for people. Up out of the blue she will surprise you and all you can say is WOW! As a matter of fact, in our homeschool co-op last year each family got to recognize their kids for outstanding achievement in any area. Taylor's award was for Excellence in Kind Deeds.

She's been up to it again! I was sitting in my chair reading when I hear her holler across the room, "Mom, don't peek! We're going to surprise you!" Of course, I can't resist just a little look and I see her get Isaac's hand and scurry off to my bedroom. Hmmm, what could they be up to? I figure she's in there folding up some clothes because I hear Isaac saying he wants to do it too. I'm a smart lady, so I'm certainly not going to interupt. Finally I get to go see my surprise. And what a surprise it was! Not only had she folded the few clothes, but she had cleaned up the dirty clothes, separated them into colors and whites, put them in the right baskets, cleaned up the trash, cleaned the bathroom counter, and last but not least, completely cleaned out and straightened UNDER the bathroom counter. It was a nightmare down there. She looked up at me with a big grin and said, "Look Mom. I even separated our hairbows." What a sweetie! She is the Queen of Kind Deeds. I'll have to remember this tomorrow when I want to wring her neck because she won't get her copywork done quickly.
