The Planet Mercury

Posted in School

On Friday we finished up our chapter on Mercury.  For a final project we made a model of Mercury out of clay.  See Isaac holding up his hands for the picture so we could see how dirty he is.  As in all the projects we do, I had to make my own as well.  See my hands at the bottom.   I just can't resist!  After all, this is the FUN part of school.

We used various sizes of beads to make different size craters.  Although I must say the kids enjoyed using the end of a pencil most of all.  It made the deepest  'craters'!

I made this picture a bigger so you could see the finished models a little better.
