Confucius Notebook Page

We have been reading about Confucius in Story of the World this week.  Plus we are still covering paragraphs in language arts.  So today we decided to combine the two and this is what Taylor came up with.

Translation- Confucius lived in ancient China.  His family was poor.  But this is what he taught- even if you are poor you can still be happy.  He wanted people to live in peace.  Confucius had cool ideas. 

Now to some, this may not seem very impressive, but for us it's a real breakthrough!  Taylor's work and her attitude toward work are really improving.  Today was a good day.
