Unwelcome visitors
| Plo Koon and A'sharad were having a relatively easy journey so far. They both knew how good things could go wrong in seconds. They were on their toes. The Neimoidian security force would not be expecting two Jedi, considering that all of them were enjoying the thought of the Jedi being "extinct". "Well there doesn't appear to be much action going on. Actually, it's relatively boring! All these people look so...so...strange and unfriendly." A'sharad loudly exclaimed. Plo Koon smiled under his face mask. "Says the man who has a tusken raider mask on." Plo Koon wisely said. "True very true." A'sharad admitted. They had arrived at a small landing platform with two Jedi starfighters side by side. "Hault! You are unknown visitors on this planet! Identification now!" An armed battle droid flatly stated. He had red marks in different places on his mechanical body. "Ah the Neimoidian battle droid, famous for their hospitality and warmth." A'sharad jokingly stated. On any other day Plo Koon would have laughed, but obviously not today."Identification!" The droid ignored the comment and persisted. Plo Koon grasped his lightsaber firmly. He saw twenty more battle droids enter the scene. "We have a problem," Plo Koon spoke with concern in his voice. The droids closed in on the two Jedi stepping ever closer to them. The force surged through and around the two skilled Jedi. "Now!!" They activated their lightsabers in harmony and flipped in the air going separate directions. Plo Koon landed and with the help of the force, made a few droids fly through the air to their deaths. A'sharad had an equal amount of success when he landed. He spun his lightsaber expertly around and around and turned four droids into scrap metal. The two Jedi made their way towards each other chopping droids in half as they did so. They both hurried towards the two Jedi starfighters. Plo Koon leaped onto the one his side. He hit the control pad by the cockpit and, the hatch opened to reveal a clean interior with a control center. He hopped into the pilots seat and took off into the sky. Blaster fire bounced off the side of the starfighter as Plo Koon looked down to see A'sharad Hett taking off as well. Soon they would be in deep space heading towards Corucant. The temple awaited them. |
