The passageway
Coruscant. This is present day Coruscant. In a sense the political "sandbox" of the entire republic. With the Jedi temple in pieces, people here are very inquisitive. But to a Jedi who is supposed to be dead, He or she already knows what has happened. Order 66. The dreaded downfall of the Jedi. Many people by now already know, but most know nothing except the "Failed Assassination" of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. With the entrance to the temple blocked by clones, a way in is extremely difficult to come by. But once again for a Jedi, the way in is child's play.
Plo Koon entered the atmosphere of coruscant being tailed by a few clone starfighters. Him and his fellow Jedi A'sharad Hett were heading for the secret entrance at max. speed. Their plan was to head in to the secret entrance and lose the clone starfighters simultaneously. "Having any trouble koon?" A'sharad spoke through his built in comlink. Plo Koon looked over his shoulder at his partner who was spiraling wildly about evading clone blaster fire. "It looks to me like your having problems of your own. Don't worry, I'll handle myself." Plo Koon stifled a laugh. A'sharad was ducking,swirling,spiraling,circling and many other things quickly enough to remind him of Anakin Skywalker. Another Jedi who by now is probably lying somewhere on the temple floor murdered. The enormousness of the deaths overwhelmed him. His starfighter was close to the entrance. A deep blackish pool of water awaited both of their starfighters. The clone ships would never make it. But Jedi starfighters were more than meets the eye. They were equipped with an underwater mode. Plo Koon plunged into the pool at a surprising speed. The clone ships simply did not have enough speed to turn around in time, and exploded at water contact.
Plo Koon had arrived. And to a nasty surprise. Ten underwater troopers floated around him with there backs to him. "We might have a problem..." Mumbled Plo Koon silently. |
