Jul. 6, 2007 - Batman Begins**

Batman Begins** rated PG-13

Henri Ducard: What is it you seek?
Bruce Wayne: The means to fight injustice, to turn fear against those who would prey on the fearful.

Batman is one of my favorite Marvel Comics characters. His story is unique and his villans are one-of-a-kind. When the movie starts to play along it's rather jumpy I must say from childhood to young adulthood to the rest of the time period of the movie, it keeps you on your toes but in an un-needed sort of way. The major plot in the movie was to let Gotham City tear itself apart..like said earlier in the movie by Ra's Al Goul: "Gotham's time has come. Like Constantinople or Rome before it the city has become a breeding ground for suffering and injustice. It is beyond saving and must be allowed to die. This is the most important function of the League of Shadows. It is one we've performed for centuries. Gotham... must be destroyed." In Batman Begins one of the main villians is Scarecrow (played by Cillian Murphy) who intoxicates his clients to make them declared insane by the court, thus he wins all the cases.

Dr. Jonathan Crane: Miss Dawes, this is most irregular. I have nothing to add to the report I filed with the judge.
Rachel Dawes: I have some questions about your report.
Dr. Jonathan Crane: Such as?
Rachel Dawes: Isn't it convenient for a fifty-two year-old man who has no prior history of mental illness to have a complete psychotic breakdown, just before he's about to be indicted?
[Crane indicates Falcone - strapped into a chair, staring fearfully at the ceiling, and muttering under his breath "Scarecrow, Scarecrow"]
Dr. Jonathan Crane: Well, as you can see, there is nothing "convenient" about his symptoms.

In the end of the movie all the loose strings are tied together with an opprotunity for another Batman Film (which there will be, The Dark Knight coming 2008)

I give it a 4 out of 5 Stars.

This Movie is Rated PG-13 for  intense action violence, disturbing images and some thematic elements.
