Flightplan** rated PG-13

If someone took everything you live for...how far would you go to get it back?
Directed By: Robert Schwentke
Release Date: September 23, 2005
Time: 98 minutes
Starring: Jodie Foster as Kyle Pratt, Marlene Lawston as Julia Pratt, Sean Bean as Captain Rich, and Peter Sarsgaard as Carson.
In this modern retelling of a classic urban legend, a mother finds herself at odds with a unremitting flight crew and her own sanity
when her daughter vanishes in the middle of a flight. Kyle has just gone through the trauma of losing her husband who jumped
off the roof of there apartment building in Berlin. Now, she and her six year old daughter Julia are flying his casket back to the United States on a plane she helped design. About 3 hours into the flight, Kyle wakes up from a nap to find Julia missing and no one remembers ever seeing her. The flight crew begin to search the plane until the Captain comes back with information that when her husband jumped, he took Julia with him. She requests a search in the plane to the captain, but nobody has seen her daughter, whose name is not in the flight manifest, disbelieving Kyle. She tries to convince the air marshal Carson that she is not delusional. In this movie you actual begin to wonder if Kyle has gone mad and is imagining that her own daughter is really there or not. I'm not going to give anything away so you should watch this movie to find out. It's a bit slow in the beginning tense in the middle with an expected ending. Still it's a good physcological thriller. I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
This movie is rated PG-13 for violence and some intense plot material.
