halllo to anyone who is reading this! (thats you!)

sooooo sorry that its been so long! =( I've been pretty busy! (yah betcha haven't heard that one before:)

so now its finally time for my monthly quote and verse of the month! ha ha ha!

so the quote is....

"I am on nobody's side, Because nobody's on my side."

which is what Treebeard remarks after he is asked (by Pippin & Merry) "whose side are you on?"

I don't know why I chose that one. Its just fun to say in a ohhh sooo superior voice, when asked which side are you on? try it! it's great fun! =D

ok now on to the verse.....

it's Genesis 18:15b

"is anything too hard for the Lord?"

very short verse, but very meaningful one. ask yourself is anything too hard for the Lord?

and the answer is NOOOOOO!!!!!!! remember that.

Oct. 30, 2009 - ~A shadow under threat has been growing in my mind~

ok......this is funny! and yes I do admit that I do some of these things too!!!! =D

-You start quoting from the movie as part of regular conversation.
-You like to tell your mom that you are hungry by quoting: "Merry, I'm hungry." She used to just laugh, but now she says, "What would you like to eat, Pippin?"
-You continually ask your parents for second breakfast.
-All the staff at your local cinema knows you by your first name and even before you open your mouth to speak, they say "Ticket for 'Fellowship of The Ring?'"
-You hate Burger King food, but you ate nothing else for a month to get the toys.
-You've crammed up your computer's memory by downloading every single screen saver from www.LordoftheRings.net
-You wander around the house in a knee length nightie, pyjama trousers and an unfastened dressing gown (to give you a train).
-You are trying to be an elf, and actually manage to forget that the nightie is blue with dolphins, the trousers have teddies on and the dressing gown is tartan.
-Your Lord of the Rings shirt has not yet met the washing machine.
-You don't have enough money to buy groceries for the next week before payday, yet you charge £50 on your credit card to get a three year charter membership in the official LOTR fan club. Who needs food anyway?
-You refer to parts of your town as parts of Middle-Earth.
-You wear hobbitish clothing as part of your normal wardrobe.
-You sometimes let your hair go curly after a wash, and then run around the house in bare feet yelling "I'm a hobbit!"

-You refer to regular elephants as oliphaunts.
-While buttering a piece of bread, you suddenly think of Bilbo (remember when he was talking to Gandalf about feeling tired) saying that he felt 'like butter spread over too much bread.'

-You are beginning to resemble a panda due to the fact that you've stayed up until 2 am reading and re-reading the great books.

-You've worn your plastic "one ring" that came on your Legolas bookmark so much the gold is completely worn off.
-You've begun drafting a letter to the Webster's dictionary people requesting that they include "Ringers" in their next edition.
-At Christmas time relatives find you chatting with the tree and sharing eggnog draughts.
-Single ads with the description," short plump and big hairy feet" seem much more appealing.
-You know The LoTR history better then your family history.

-You cannot see a beer without blurting out "It comes in pints? I'm getting one!"
-You just can't keep yourself from saying "nobody tosses a Dwarf" at inappropriate moments.
-A shadow and a threat is growing in your mind.
-You now referring to your friends as your 'Fellowship' and insist that you have epic adventures.
-You stand in the doorway and tell your cat that he 'Can not pass'.
-You wash your face in the sink and expect to see things that are, that have been or that will be.
-Your wedding band has started to weigh you down with it's evil powers. -Spending $35 at the grocery store seems expensive but its Perfectly fine to spend $70 on the Hardcover LOTR book with Alan Lee Illustrations.
-You start keeping a LOTR Journal to write poems and inklings in.
-You face every difficult decision with the thought "now what would Gandalf advise me to do?"
-You know what Entmoot, Ent draught, or an Ent is for that matter.
-You've gained 20 pounds because you've started eating a "Second Breakfast"
-A walking stick... you never leave home with out it.
- Whenever you see a flock of crows you have the irresistible urge to scream and throw yourself under the nearest bush.

Hello again!

gess what! I got tagged by UndoTheHorsePen! thank you!

soooo here goes!

so, you're caught on another planet...what would you do?

The condtions: red planet kinda like Mars. with frozen water deposits, an adverage temp. of -40f

what you have: A shuddle with no engine, a half fuel supply, a damaged and weak raidio antenna, enough oxygen to last you under normal conditions up to 30 weeks, repair tools, but some are multi-man tools, & you are the only man alive.

Time to survive: 20 weeks or run out of fuel.

try to be creative with your answers.

ok I would prolly sit down or (or possibly and) scream.

then when I was done I would get up and try to rig the shuddle into a warm-ish shelter. then I would either (depending on the time) sleep or try to fix the raidio, and then go to sleep.

then when I wake up, I'd listen to some muisic from the raidio. JUST KIDDING!!! I would try to send a signal to earth, and then I would find out that I didn't fix the raidio! so then I would try, try again! and I would, from all my efforts BREAK the raidio!!!! then I would run around screaming!!!

Then I would prolly sit down and cry. (again) then I would explore the planet, get lost and die!!!!

wow! I hope I never get stranded on a unknown planet!!!!

WOW!!!! just think of all the things that we don't even know that we are doing, and we don't even know it!!!! =0

its when they are in the mines of Moria. and Gandalf gives that AWESOME speech!! and Frodo says some thing to the point of I wish that I was born in better times. and Gandalf replays.....

"So do all who live to see such times, But that is not for us to decided. All we have to decided is what to do with the time that is given to us."

I think that that is such great advice to this day. =D

Hey!!!!

well I just wanted to say this will be my 10th Entry!!!

I don't know what to do though.....hmmmmmm.....

I am part of two clubs now. first ones a LOTR club called "Friends of middle earth" I'm Treebeard there. next one is a pirate club called "the pirate club" I need to post my name there. I have a name just nobody knows what it is! (sorry I should prolly be doing that right now)

my friend & neighbor Kylea, her 8th B-day was on the 20th!!

I just laugh my head off when I hear that!! =D (well my head does stay on, But you get the picture)

the Verse that starts it all! but its a verry improtant one too! Because if you don't belive that God created the Heavens and the Earth, and that its all a mistake, and that part of the Bible is wrong on that subject, then what elss is too? you follow me?? I belive very strongly that if you don't belive the Bible storys that you don't want to, than you don't truely trust God our Lord. So belive, PLEASE BELIVE in Genesis 1:1.

Im so sorry that I have not posted in a long time! well as they say time flies and well, June soared! and I have found that people get rather grumpy if you neglect HSB! so here I am a month later and sooooo much to say that I feel quite over my head! well first things first, Im going to do my quote and verse for this month and last month! so here goes!

I'm finally going to do my bible vurse & quote of the month! Sorry it took me sooooo long! I'v been trying to find the right bible verse! And I'v got it! drum roll please! here tis!

My Bible verse of the month is...

Psalm 27:1 "The Lord is my light and my salavtion; of whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strenth of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I think that that Bible verse has such meaning,especially in these times it's sooo easy to go into code red, with all that is happing! & I love that Psalm, it's one of my all time favorites! I know it by heart! I highly recemmend reading it!

Now, on to the quote of the month!!

my quote of the month is from surprize, surprize, LOTR! which king Theoden states right when the battle of Helms deep begins,

I love that quote! and you can put it front of sooo many sentenses! like so...

yesterday I got(well borowed) all the LOTR movies!

and gess what I watched them!*claps wildly* I know what your

probbly doing right now your rolling your eyes and

saying what crazo would give her those things! you know what happens

if you give her those things! she goes WILD!

witch I assure you I hath not! (well maybe a little) but I have got some cool new quotes!

I almost cried when Sam said (and I find it so true!)

"you know we should not even be here but we are!"

I have more quotes but you'll have to wait because I'm out fo time!

I was lising to my LOTR (that stands for Lord Of The Rings) sound tracks

& I rembered the quote "Gandalf which way is mordor right or left?" which

is what Frodo says to Gandalf (well of course!) when they are leaving Rivendell

I like that one because it's sort of funny! if you have any favorite quote

from LOTR, or in genral please share it!

heeeeeelo!

welcome to my blog! how do you do? how are you?

well this morning I looked at my poster by my bed and it says

"this is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad!"

(Isiah 58:11) and I thought "man if everyone had that right by

their bed and see's that every time they wake up, there won't be

"waking up at the wrong side of the bed" any more! So that's my

verse of the month! hope you like it! and my quote of the month is

from Lord of the rings (the movie) "For Frodo!" which is what

Aragorn says before he charges into the sea of enemies to fight to

the death, and I think it's amazing that he said that of all things, I

mean,that could be his last words and they had nothing about himself!

I think if people had that attitude it would be a better world!
