Atlanta in Review
Here are the promised pictures of our trip to Atlanta. These only catch a brief bit of our trip. Most of the time we enjoyed talking to each other while the children entertained themselves in many creative ways! The trip was fantastic, and here are a few snapshots from it: Visiting the American Girl Store - we know it is overpriced and ostentatious, but we did it anyway. And we were rewarded with huge smiles :-) (Just not in this picture...)  Waiting to ride the fantastic carousel upstairs from the AGS.   Happy girls doing their best princess imitations.  One of Booknhome's daughters riding the perfect animal for her - a bobcat with a dead bird in its mouth. This one cracked me up! Perfect for a rough and tumble girl.  This is about all I saw of my #2 son during the visit - a blur doing something outside! This was shot as he whizzed by on the zipline. Note the filthy jeans. Boy heaven.  Proud lumberjacks standing by the raised garden bed they helped construct by chopping down trees off the property they live on. This was an awesome activity for my guy, since we live in a neighborhood with small lots and not many trees at all. Very cool. |
