Seven years ago today, a woman in far-off China gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She loved this child enough to place her in a safe spot. This child was soon found and given excellent care while she waited for her forever family to travel around the world and bring her home. Happy Birthday, Rebecca. You are God's gift to us, and I am so happy to be your mommy!

I found the link to your blog from your Facebook! Anyway, this post brought tears to my eyes!! I so remember that cute little baby in the photo you recieved from China. I get so emotional when I think of Rebecca, and how God sent you half way around the world to find your daughter. I remember the first time I met here, asleep in her crib, and how I cried then! And, I'm not really a big crier!! Something about your family adding Rebecca to your lives just gets to me! Maybe it's because we share a birthday! I always think of her on her birthday, and I'm sure I always will.
