Babysitting Money - Jul. 16, 2009
Posted in The Kids
My daughter has had a regular babysitiing job for quite a quite now. This has been such a blessing because we can't give the kids an allowance these days.
So, what does a fifteen-year-old girl do with her babysitiing money? Well, usually she tithes her ten percent and puts the rest in the bank until she needs it for something important like registration fees for a horse show or horse grooming supplies. As you can see, my daughter is not frivolous by nature. She's not quick to throw away her money on impulse. So, when she wanted to spend a little of her money on something completely frivolous and fun, I was fine with it. What did she get? Pink streaks in her hair!

Oh, and yes, they are permenant. Well, as permanent as you can get when you're dealing with hair. I think she looks way too cute with pink hair! Our friend, Lynn, did a wonderful job. Thanks, Lynn!
Thanks for stopping by!

What a brave girl!!! I never would have thought she had it in her. :-) I'm so glad she's self-controlled with money. So many struggle in that area.
