I am so glad that it's SPRING!!!!!
The weather is wonderful! Ok, maybe not better than Georgia, but good for Springfield! The bad thing is that I have a chest cold or something. I love this time of year! Everything is so full of life and sunshine! All the noises and smells and sights and textures and tastes! Apple pie, fried chicken, picnics, warm days just perfect for me. Except the flus, colds, and shots. Unleash the shorts and short sleeves! I love the long days in the sun. The only problem is that my bike chain broke. But it's all good! The groth-spurts, the wind, the fresh fruits (and I mean really fresh!). The new leaves on the trees, lifes good. And I love the lemonade! The dogs in the park, the allergies, the ice cream...I love it. I cant wait to get the summer clothes out!
OK, new hobby: digging. No, seriously, I like archeology, and history and want to be an archeologist. I love ancient things and want to solve mysteries and find really, really, really old things. I think that it's really interesting. And that's a lot of "really's."
I am really, really, really depressed because I have my iPod Shuffle and it won't turn on!!! And it's all because I don't have my dumb iPod Dock!!! I also have a funny story to tell:
Well, I was at church last night, and was in the restroom when the janitor came in and changed the trash and towels and then turned out the light, leaving me in the dark. Luckily, I had my key-chain flash-light and used that to get out of there.
(Sa-Sa was Lan-Lan's way of saying sorry when she was a baby) And I am so sorry for not writing! You see we just moved. So I have been pretty busy trying to get seltted. I will try to get back in to the habbit of trying to write every day.

Today's the DAY!!!! The Sun is Shining, the Tank is Clean, and Lan-lan is Getting Her Stitches Out!
Today is the day Lan-lan gets her stitches out. I am so excited for her! She leaves at, oh, 8:45. (And another change of subject: There is a "Creepy Crawly" as we know them, maybe they are called millipedes, I don't know, all I know is that one is in the overflowing hole in our sink!!!!!!) Anyway, Lan-lan is probably not going to feel a thing.
Today is Wednesday. And that means that we get a lot of surprises! In church, there is a door prize. And you sign up, later you could win a door prize! I don't know what to expect, but the last 2 weeks, I have won the door prize. In the youth department, the youth pastor made an atmosphere resembling a coffee shop. The fun thing is that the "Coffee Shop" has...CANDY!!!!!! They use it to raise money for mission trips and things like that . I love it down there. And Mr. David preaches sermons...or something like them. He uses slides and puts the Bible verses up on the screen. So we don't need to bring our Bibles, only on Sundays. That's why I call it Surprise Day.
Are you wondering why I haven't told you about Lan-lan yet? Are you Surprised? Well, I can't keep anybody in suspense. Here it is: Her eye is much better today and it just looks like a black eye with a few black things on the side of her eye. OK????

Lan-lan Gets Her Stitches Out Day After Tommorow!!
Poor Lan-lan! She got her stitches in last week on Wednesday. On Thursday of this week, she gets them out. Here's a picture of her eye today:
As you can see, she basically has a black eye, with stitches on the side. It kinda reminds me of an ancient sign that means healing. Kinda odd, huh? The ancient sign is the Eye of Horus. It has a weird story behind it. I think you should check it out. It's from Egypt. Just remember that it isn't real. And it's not true. It might be fascinating, but not true.

The Days are Beautiful, And You Should See All the LEAVES!!!!!
In our yard, there are SOOOO many LEAVES!!!!!!!!! You people should see them! We (As usual, my younger brother and sister, and I) were going to make a "den" of leaves, big enough for all three of us to fit with a little room to spare. Yesterday we tried it, and it didn't work so well. There were not enough leaves. Today, however, it should be a different matter!!!!(MUHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!) I hope that I will get to go outside today, because of my younger sisters stiches. This is her gash at its worst.
This is what is was this morning:
You can see how her eye is swolen. It took seven stiches to sew it up. The horrable thing is that she felt the last two stches because the pain killer wore off. What you are probably wondering is "How did this happen?!?!" She was walking on the bleachers in the church gym on Wednesday night, when a little girl who wanted to talk to her grabbed her leg. So...Landry fell...and got that huge gash near her eye.
I knew I was allergic to cats, but MERRY (The BOY Guinea Pig)!?!?!?! (Just to change the subject, there is a Lady Bug (Beetle) on the ceiling!!!) I can't believe it!!!! (I can!!) Oh, HUSH!!! (Nahh!!) That was just my older brother, Johnny. (Whatever!!!) WILL YOU BE QUIET!!! (Never!!!MUHAAA!!!) (Sighhhh) That, boy. Anyway, I held Merry this morning, and then my hands got all red, and they started to itch. This makes me sad.
I am at my dad's office because my mother is a substitute teacher for a while at Glory Adaio. And I am having fun, really! At the office there is tubby (of course!) and another dog named Chester. He is such a baby! He is owned by some of my dad's friends, the Simons.
At my dad's office, there is a female cat who (about eight weeks ago) had eight baby kittens. Of the eight, there was one in particlaur
that everyone loved. That one they called Tubby, because he was so, well, tubby. He is a golden tabby-cat, and he is supposed to be a mouser, just like his mama, when he grows up. The mama they call Mama because she is the mama.
I forgot to tell you about our trip to Honey Heaven last week! What a dumb thing to do! I have never loved honey better. At Honey Heaven, they have the bees right there for you to see! Most of the capsules there are for the eggs. They had all types of honey that they make there for you to try. You could buy a Papa bear size, a Mama bear size, and a Baby bear size. They had chocolate honey, french
vanilla, and lemon honey. That's just a few of the types of honey they have there!
I have something creepy to tell you. This morning, when I woke up, I sat up as usual. I saw something moving and looked at it. I shouldn't have. I saw a huge house spider crawling on the edge of my comforter! I quickly batted it off of my bed, without touching it of course! You might remember last year, when I touched a house spider. That was on a Sunday, this is Friday.
I like to do experiments, as I'm sure you know. I did an experiment today where they wanted me to get a egg to float. So I put a ton of salt (one teaspoon at a time) in the one and one half cup of water. Finally, I got it to float! After that, I made the egg a dolphin (I
actually spelled that without having to look it up!!!)
We watched Akeelah and the Bee last night. It's a relatively new movie and dad just got it. It has a lot of bad words in it. But over all, it is a good movie.
Hi! My blog is of my days, and sometimes my nights. I'm eleven, and I love spending time with my family, Guinea Pig, and I enjoy playing outside, climbing trees.
