Jan. 15, 2008 - Missionary Geography Club
Yesterday we had our Missionary Geography Club. We had someone who's been on two short term missions trips to India come talk to the group about India. We then learned about Amy Carmichael's life and her ministry in India. It's always such a joy to me to learn about these "saints" who've gone before us. It's so encouraging learning about people who, though not perfect by any means, were completely sold out for the Lord and used in incredible ways to glorify Him!
This afternoon we had a fun gathering with other homeschool friends at one of our friend's house. The girls and I love these times of fellowship (or, as my honey calls it, "social studies").
