Churute..... the rest of the story

Posted in True Missionary Stories

If you were interested in the Churute story then you'll be interested in hearing about ...the rest of the story... as Paul Harvey says. My husband and daughter went out yesterday (I was home with a sick son) and he gives this report. Check it out!

May. 2, 2006 - great blog

Hey Linda!
My name is Teresa, and I'm an IMB missy in Brazil. Guy found our blog (http://my.opera.com/brazilnuts), and sent us the links to your blogs yesterday. I really enjoyed going back through and reading several of your blogs (and Guy's). I was especially touched by your comments on Josh. Man, I've been there! Our 18 year old, who left for college last year, had given us fits now and then. I almost felt like I was reading my feelings from 4 years ago! Thanks for being so open. It takes a lot of courage to share problems we have... though we all know that we all have problems! Oh, the prison called pride we live in! It was refreshing to see your humility. I love you without knowing you!

Thanks Teresa for your words and support. The encouraging thing about your comment was that your son has gone to college. Makes me think there is light at the end of the tunnel called adolescence! I look forward to checking out your blog as well.

May. 4, 2006 - Thanks for coming to visit

Thanks for your encouragement about Sonlight. I think I am just about there. I still have to get my husband's final okay on it, and I haven't shown him the total amount yet--a little nervous. It just seems like a lot when we have been getting good stuff for half that price.

Hope you have a great day!

Love,
Karen
