On Wednesday, March 18th, Pastor, my DH, and 2 other men of the church took off on an adventure to climb spirit mountain.  They had done some research on it and knew there were trails to climb.  They wanted to climb a trail no harder than a 1 or 2 level.

They got to the place where they parked the vehicles okay and then the misadventure happened.  There was no trail to follow.  Being great leaders that they are, they blazed their own.

My DH had worked the grave yard shift the night before and had taken off on this trip with no sleep.  He was going to spend the night on the mountain.  He was lugging a heavier backpack than the other men.  He took a nice tumble down the mountainside.

Relunctant to say he didn't spend the night on the mountain.  Instead I was busy taking care of cuts and bruises.  This has not stopped my DH from wanting to try it again.

I think they need to study the map somemore and get down their directions better.
