Well today, we are back into our school routine after a long break from the holidays.  I'm also babysitting a 7 week old baby girl.  She is so precious and is a very good baby.  I'm happy to be watching her for a dear couple.  

Well here's the lesson plan we did today.

Bible - still memorizing Psalm 24,

Read Ex. 20:4-6, 32:1-6 - Idols of Stone

Language Arts - parts of book - title page, copyright page, preface, table of contents, body, appendix, glossary, bibliography, index

Vocabulary - crucible, molten, devotion, kilt, ingot, coarse, apprenticed, vise, diminishing, sibilant, intense, aghast, fermentation

Literature - The Golden Goblet, by Eloise Jarvis McGraw, chapter 1, discussion

Social Studies - history and culture of Ancient Egypt, reading on topic

Science - desert experiment - evaporation, reading on topic 

They also did their math lesson.
