This is the completed assignment given in Lesson 1. I know that probably everyone else on HSB did Lord of the Rings for the first lesson, but I really like it and want to do it.
The Lord of the Rings
Character: Frodo
Setting: Middle-Earth
Problem: The ring Frodo has will enable Sauron to conquer Middle-Earth.
Plot: Frodo takes the ring on a long journey to destroy it.
Welcome, welcome to the WW. Glad to have a poetic maiden among the writing 'stars.' I'll try and friend you so your name can be listed under that honorable blog "title." :-)
And yes, a number (not all) have done LOTR. That's fine. Sure makes it easy to correct, you know? LOL
The 5 elements are obviously not a problem for you. You were able to identify them easily. A hint for "plot" is that you could also have mentioned a couple of actual plot events in the story, as well as the general, overall plot. But all in all, a very good start in your lessons.
I see you have #2 done, also. I'll wander over and check it out now.

My pen pours forth like a fountain, and this is the place where you can read some of what I have written.
Please leave a comment, even if you only read part of a post! I love feedback and constructive criticism, and I want to know that what I post is being read.
