Polishing Gems

Tears of thankfulness and joy accompany this entry of tribute to our dear, sweet Miss Beth. Sarah started Creative Movement as a four year old and Miss Beth was there, assisting the class at age twelve. A year later she was the Bluebird in the production of Noah's Ark and her dancing lit a fire of inspiration in our own little "Dog's" heart. The following year when Sarah was enrolled in Miss Beth's six year old pre-ballet class she took note of Sarah's focus and desire, prompting the directors to review Sarah for class advancement. Though Miss Beth was no longer Sarah's teacher, her sweet smile and caring spirit greeted us weekly. This year, her final year of high school, Sarah was blessed to have Miss Beth for a teacher once again as a Level II student. What a fitting way to end six years of influence on our precious daughter's life. There were many bittersweet tears shed during last night's final spring production as we watched Beth and another senior, Julie, dance with the school for the last time. Sarah and the other young students have big and more importantly, beautiful, shoes to fill - in dance and in life.
