Suzuki Graduations
Posted in A Musical Childhood
|
Three of our girls graduated from Suzuki books last Friday evening. Here is Hannah playing her graduation piece from Book One.

Holly graduated from Book Three. I didn't get her picture playing alone as I was seated directly in front of her, but here she is playing with one of my former students.

Sarah graduated from Book Five.

Symphony bars for all and no roses for me as they were all gone due to Valentine's Day!

My daughter (9) started Suzuki violin at the end of September, she has just learned the twinkle variations. We are pleased with her progress. She is excited to go to Lightly Row! Congrats on the book advancement. What book are they in now. I saw that one of your daughters plays the cello. We are thinking about putting child #3 into the cello program, but child #2 wants to play the acoustic guitar. We'll see.

Sarah is in Book Six. Hannah started cello last spring after several years on violin and is in Book Two. Holly is in Book Four. Abby plays cello too and also just learned her twinkles. They aren't polished yet, but she's starting French Folk Song - fun!
