My school preparation was done in June - true to form for me as I enjoy having a completely clean plate during the summer. With a baby due in September, we'll be starting school a bit early. The younger three will start basic work Aug. 4. Sarah will join us and we'll add in the rest of our subjects Aug. 18. That should give us a 3-5 week head start before things get really exciting. Here's our "schedule" for the year. This is a four day routine outside of the first month in the fall and the month of January when we do five days a week. Otherwise, Fridays are for other things - art, music history, music theory, cleaning, organizing, errands, extra computer time, and my sanity. Morning Routines 6:00 - 7:30 Get Ready Rotate Piano Practice for Older Three Set Kitchen for Day and Check Meals Take Care of Cats Breakfast and Kitchen Jobs Morning School 7:30 - 11:00 Together Time (Bible, Hymn, Memorization, Children's Songs, Rote Math) Tapestry of Grace School Meetings/Independent Work in L.
