R.S. season has begun!

It's my favorite season of the year!
(No, not Spring... it's Rummage Sale 'season!')

Paul and the two older kids got up bright and early on Saturday to hit some neighborhood sales.
Our goal this year was to find a bigger bike for Joseph, (and not have to spend a fortune on it!)
I'm so grateful...we found one our first day out! (Thank you LORD!)

It's in great condition, and it's just the right size - 20" (compared to the 16" he had been riding!)
He's a little nervous about learning to use hand-brakes.... but I'm sure he'll get the hang of them in no time.

It was very cold on Saturday morning when they all went out,
so I stayed at home with the little girls.
Maybe that wasn't such a good idea.... considering Paul's OTHER purchase for Joseph.

Julie was also happy with her find.

I can't wait to go R.S. 'shopping' myself.
ALL of the kids could use new play clothes, and I LOVE to shop for kids' books!

Ooo nice finds ;)
Our child size guitar was a curb-side find. It has brought MUCH joy to my crew LOL
I don't think that drum set would suffice for my gang though...we're looking into a real FULL set. Yes, we'll be putting a door on that bonus room ;) teehee
Hey, if you want your kids involved in music, you gotta let 'em DO it, right?

Rummage Sales are the best. We are looking for a 16 inch bike for Snap Dragon. I love to hunt through the books also.

My season of garage sales starts this week. Of course it is snowing right now..UGH. But we have great subdivision sales in neighborhoods that we will never be able to afford to live in. So we just shop in them. One families junk is my treasure;p
I am on the hunt for a bike too. I hope we have the same luck.

Now, all you have to do is get one of your little girls on the keyboard, add a couple of microphones and you will have a whole worship team.

I haven't gotten into rummage sales, but I think once the kids get here I will. Kids clothes are too expensive.

I am with you on this! Last Friday the bug bit us and I have to say we raked in a nice little stash of new to us books. My kids save their allowance so they can buy things for themselves. I am living for this weekend's mega neighborhood sale near-by! Maybe I'll post pics.
