The Kalahari

We just got back from the Kalahari!

No...not the desert in Africa, the HUGE indoor waterpark in Wisconsin Dells!!!
We spent the last three days surfing, splashing & swimming!
(Last Christmas we received a very generous gift card to the Kalahari from my relatives...
So a BIG thank you to them for making this trip possible for our family!!!)

The Kalahari was wonderful!
Next to Disney World, it truly is one of the coolest 'theme' resorts I have ever been to.
Even the lobby is magnificent!

Ummm...Joseph...that's not what the statues are meant for!

The waterpark had something for everyone!

Julie loved the slides
And she even tried 'boogie boarding'
But her favorite was the wave pool!

Joseph's favorite activities were water basketball....
And trying to 'cover' the fountains
He also tried 'surfing'  (...with a little help from the life-guard )

Katie-Noel was a little hesitant to try some of the big slides, but she enjoyed the 'medium' ones
And eventually she was brave enough to go on the "Rippling Rhino" with her sisters.
It ended up being her favorite ride!

And even little Annabelle found plenty to do!

And Paul and I loved floating around the "Lazy River."
I don't want to discourage my readers by posting photos of myself in a bathing suit,
but just to prove that Paul and I were there..... here's a post-swimming photo of us

It was a wonderful vacation, and it was so nice to be able to spend the time together with my family!  (Thanks again to my Aunt, Uncles and Cousins who made this trip possible!!!  -
We love you guys!!!)

Boy, Michelle, fluff sounds a lot harder to get out of screens than dust does. We did have to scrub-- just the hose didn't touch them. But I'm glad we didn't have little fibers sticking to everything! And no, my kids aren't for hire. I have more screens, lol. And a messy house...
