Thanks to the fun "Geography Game" in My Father's World,
Julie and Joseph are now able to correctly identify at least 53 countries on the continents of North America, South America and Europe! (...and we're adding more all the time!)
We also found this great book that goes along very nicely with many of the places we are learning about.
It has dot-to-dots of natural and man-made landmarks around the world. The kids love it!
The 'littles' have been busy practicing their counting and sorting skills.
It's been a fun week!
That looks like so much fun. Man, you make me wish I had done MFW. We've been plodding along kinda boringly (is that a word?). I want something exciting!! The problem is whenever I try something exciting, I start getting whining from my kids about REAL work. UUGH.
I'm thinking hard about next year. Are you sticking with MFW?
Oh good, so that's what I get to look forward to next year! ;)
Glad your kiddos are doing so well with it! That dot to dot book looks really fun. My girls love dot to dots!
My little guy (4) likes to sort our math linking cubes while I work with the girls :)
Thanks for sharing! Have a blessed weekend.

Those activities do look fun. Both the geography game and the dot to dots would be loved by my oldest girl. And the younger on would think it looked fun.
How are you liking MFW? I bought their Toddler and Preschool package for David and Beverly. The kids have the pegs all over the house. I am picking them up continually.
Anyway, I looked at their package and was very interested. Of course, my kids are 3 and 5 and just learned English, can only count to 12, can't recognize all their letters or numbers... so I have a couple of years.
We just started doing dot-to-dots. Ours only go up to the number 10. The World of Wonders Dot-to-Dot looks very, very fun!
