Memorial Day weekend
We're still plugging away at school, but we took a nice long break for Memorial Day weekend.
(Paul took Friday off - so it was a 4-day weekend!)
Paul's folks are back in Wisconsin for the summer, but they are staying over on the western side of the state to be closer to their own, elderly parents.
So we went on a little 'road trip' to go see them and spend some time with them.
It was a beautiful weekend weather-wise, and so we made the most of it.
We went for a picnic at the park
 and we went to a little zoo (here's everyone at the buffalo pen  )
and the kids spent lots
 and lots
 and lots
 and lots
 of time in the hotel pool
....and Paul and I had a nice relaxing time, too - away from schedules, and work.....
