Modest bathing suits for little girls CAN be found!

Can it be that little girls' clothing manufacturers are finally starting to listen to our pleas for cute, modest clothes?!!!

We bought new bathing suits for Julie and Annabelle recently, (Katie's suit from last year still fit.)
We actually got them 2 piece suits which consist of girl's swim trunks and a 'rash guard' shirt. We actually prefer 2 piece suits because they are easier for 'potty issues' - but in years past - finding modest ones was quite difficult. ( I don't think it's 'cute' to dress a toddler in a string bikini!

)
But this year, we found the perfect suits! They are stylish, modest and..as an added bonus, they are made from material that blocks UV rays! (Since my girls have such fair skin...that's a huge bonus!)

We got our suits from Land's End (and I know that they are on sale now - if anyone is interested...) but I know that both Target and Old Navy carried similar suits this year. I'm just so thankful that the clothing manufactures finally got the point that we don't want our little girls to dress provocatively!

The girls had fun testing out our new suits at the state park this weekend.

Amen!! So cute. My daughter much prefers this type of suit. Comfortable and far less likely to get sunburn.

Doesn't the snow seem far away now? LOL. It is 110 at my house today.

I agree. The rash guard craze is good for us modest minded people. Looks like a nice swimming hole.

I was even able to find a modest two piece bathing suit for myself. I am also grateful that my 16 year old can find a "hip" modest two piece for herself. Very exciting to be able to buy in stores instead of out of modest catalogs and have to pay such high shipping charges!!!

That's so cool! Those are just the kind Tiffany was asking for. Target was out of her size, and Old Navy's biggest kid size was too small--so I will check out Land's End. Thanks!! The kids look great!!

I feel the exact same way about swimsuits!! I wouldn't wear a bikini and I certainly don't want my daughter thinking it's ok, either. Good for you! We found a cute tankini at land's end for Emma, too, this year. They are so cute and modest! I love that her tummy doesn't show, but using the bathroom is easy :) Your girls look so cute and comfortable in theirs!
