Update about what we're using
We have done some switching around recently,
so I thought I would post an update about what we are currently using.
Julie

History : MFW
Science : MFW

Vocabulary : English From the Roots Up
Writing : After some searching for the 'right' program...we will be starting Spectrum later this week.
Music : MFW (music appreciation), plus piano and violin
Art : projects from MFW, plus a textbook "Discovering Art"
Joseph
Bible : MFW, CLE
History : MFW

Reading : CLE
Math : CLE
Grammar : Growing With Grammar (Joseph is doing very well with this after switching from CLE language arts)
Spelling : Rod and Staff (ditto the above comment)
Writing : Spectrum, Handwriting Without Tears
Music : MFW (music appreciation), plus piano
Art : projects from MFW, plus a textbook "Discovering Art"
Katie
Bible : Little Hearts for His Glory (LHFHG),
History: LHFHG recommended books: History for Little Pilgrims, History Stories for Children
Science LHFHG recommended book by Christian Liberty Press (eventually we may switch to CLE science)
Math : Singapore (although we may be switching to CLE after the first book)

Writing : Handwriting Without Tears
Music : LHFHG recommended music CD (Hide Em In Your Heart)
Art : LHFHG projects
Reading/Storytime : (from this point on we will be substituting various children's picture books for the Thornton Burgess books)
This year has been a little more difficult for us 'finding our groove', but I am so glad that we have the ability to change things when they aren't working for us!
