Our school room is done finally.  I wish I had taken some before pictures.

I ordered 2 desks that will go where the table is standing.

This turned out dark, Its a second bookcase on the other half of the room.

• May. 14, 2008 - Our Tadpoles Came!

We sent for our tadpoles back in March but they wouldn't send them to us until the weather warmed up.   So they finally arrived on May 2.   There are 2 of them.  The boys named them Darth and Godzilla. lol

Almost 2 weeks and still no legs emerging yet.  They're active though and fun to watch.

Here are a couple pictures.

• Feb. 18, 2008 - Benefits..

One of the benefits of Homeschooling.  You can wear what you want.

This is Logan, taken back in October.   I couldn't get him to take that costume off!  He wore this for days waiting on Halloween.

• Aug. 5, 2007 - ABC's of Homemaking

Got this from MrsGaylynn's blog.  Join in.

Aprons- Y/N?  If Y, what does your favorite look like?  No, I think they are cute though.

Baking - Favorite thing to bake - Anything!  I love to cook/bake.

Clothesline - Y/N?   No, but I really want one.

Donuts - Have you ever made them?  No,  I remember my mom making them when I was a child.

Everyday - One homemaking thing you do every day.  Laundry.

Freezer - Do  you have a separate deep freeze?   Yes, and I love having one.

Garbage Disposal - Y/N?  Yes, but would happily give it up for a dishwasher.

Handbook - What is your favorite homemaking resource?   Internet

Ironing - Love it or hate it?  I don't love it but wouldn't say I hate it either.

Junk drawer - Y/N  Where is it?   Yes, two of them, in the kitchen.

Kitchen - Color and decorating scheme -  What little walls I have are white.  Our cabinets are very long so we don't have alot of wall space.  I have a few baskets, candles and appliances, but that's about it.

Mop?  Y/N?  Yes

Nylons - Wash by hand or in the washing machine?  The very few times I wear them...washing machine.

Oven - Do you use the window or open the oven to check?    Open the door.

Pizza - What do you put on yours?  Pepperoni, sausage, & mushrooms.

Quiet - What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?  Usually get on the computer

Recipe card box - Y/N?  What does it look like?   Yes, it's stuffed.  It's a wooden box with a gingerbread man on it.   Plus I have my Taste of Home & Quick Cooking magazines all grouped together.

Style of house - What style is your house?  ??  Pretty standard.  White, main level, upstairs and a basement

Tablecloths and napkins - Y/N?    Usually just on Holidays

Under the kitchen sink - Organized or toxic wasteland?   Organized

Vacuum - How many times per week?   Everyday

Wash - How many loads of laundry do you do per week?  I don't count, probably between 12 & 15

X's - Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?        I have a list of things I would like to get done daily, weekly & monthly but I don't cross them off as I do them.   I don't like to mess with printing off a new list every day.

Yard - Y/N  Who does what?   Yes,   our oldest mows, dh takes care of the weeds & trims.  I don't do anything except rake the leaves in the Fall with the boys.

Zzz's - What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?  Make sure everything is off and doors are locked.
