The Surprise Party

"Heyyyyyy...get up......get loouuud....start pumpin up the party now". Man, it's bad when you start quoting Hannah Monatana! No, just kidding. The surprise party was amazing. It totally worked out. Not in the way I thought it would, but it was really good. Almost everyone showed up, except for our friend Josiah and some others, but it was still fun. My friend Becky was so super surprised and excited, and she had alot of fun. Our friend Josh was late though, so he missed the "surprise" part, but he came a bit later, and we all had a great time. But now I am getting ahead of my self, let me start from the beginning.

So, Shayna, Behn, Becky's brother Ryan, and I got there sometime after or before 5:00 PM. For me it was more like 5:30, cause I had to wait for my mom to finish getting ready. I eventually got there, and pretty soon after, the boys put up the decorations. I was really impressed with their decorating, and the room looked really good. Then we blew up some balloons and Behn hung them on the cords of the lamps. Around that time too, the guests started coming,and before we knew it almost all of them showed up. Then, it was time to call.... We got Ryan to phone, and we didn't find out til later that Becky's mom made it sound like an emergency, and they came pretty soon after. We had all the lights off, and I was standing by the cd player, ready to hit the play button to play "Happy Birthday" by the Beatles. She came pretty soon after, and she was so surprised.                                   This is Becky after we yelled surprise, flicked on the lights, and started the music. She was soooo super excited and happy. She gave Shayna and I a big hug!

                                  Here are two of us girls(Becky,me,Olivia, Laura, Emerald, and Shayna's) friends, and one of them our former leader. They are/were both leaders in Lifeline. The blonde to the left, is Courtney, who is no longer a leader, and our former leader, Mandy, who still is a leader. Like their week girl guns?

                                    Here are two of my girls. Olivia, and Julie. There both pretty amazing!

                                   Here is Shayna, the girl that planned the party with me, Heather, on of the 11th grade girl's leader and our sweet friend, and one of our other amazing leaders, Megan. I love them all to pieces!

                                    Here are some more of my amazing friends. From the left, There is our co-youth pastor, Steve, behind him is, Cam, then there is Nigel, Tyler, me, Emerald, Olivia, Josh, who for some reason wasn't smiling in any of the pictures, and Becky's big bro, Ryan. They are all pretty rad!

                                   Here is a picture of some of my boy buddies. There is Josh again(see he isn't smiling...grrr), then there is Nigel, Behn(who kindly helped us set up, supervised us, and helped us out alot), and there at the far end is Olivia!!

                                  We had a bit of sibling rivalry going on. No, just kiddin, here is Ryan, Emerald, Behn's brother Dan, Becky and Ryan's sister Katie, and Becky herself. We were playing the animal game, which was pretty fun. And you see that Coke bottle that is in Ryan's hand, well we used that to hit people with. It was surprising how painful that thing could be!!!

                                 Here is Jessica, Becky, and Shayna. At the end of the party, Jessica, Shayna, Katie(Becky's sister), and I mushed cake in her face. It was fun, but we stupidly decided to do it  after Behn had finished moping the floor. He wasn't very thrilled, but we made sure we helped him to clean up. Nice huh?

So, yeah, that party was a blast. We had a good time, and that night Becky, Shayna, and I all had dreams about it. Becky was so happy too, and yeah. Praise God that it worked out, and I seriously mean that. God was the one helping this to all work out, and I know that it wouldn't have worked out if he hadn't been the one totally leading this. God YOU ROCK!!!!!!
