Feb. 26, 2008 - Perspective

My goodness. Time flies when you are living life! The yarn tasting was fun- I have a nice new sassy scarf because of it. Best of all it is a sampler of the different types of textures out there. :) From silk and alpaca to llama and wool to merino to polymides to cotton to corn to milk fibers to bamboo...so it is fun to "read" my scart with other fiber artists.

Dd2 is giving me fits. Teenage years early.

My dad has kidney cancer. He is a believer. He is retired from metropolitan police and fire departments. He had a brain anuerysm 14 years ago with no side effects. I am blessed he has been around this long! I am so glad he is being encouraged to follow some diet treatment as well as AMA treatment. My sister in law and dad's wife are pursuing this. Yea!

This has been my February and it is not over.

Fashion and Food review are on Saturday for 4H. Fashion is finish for show but Food still needs to be deocrated!

One Day at a Time...

About Me
My family and I live in the high desert of sunny, southern California. We have a small assortment of farm animals and raise some of our own food, even here! I like handcrafts, especially those involving textiles. We live one day at a time by His grace.
