We have become addicted to Lapbooking! All of the kids are getting into it. Chloe and Nev made really great Space lapbooks that I found for free online. Free is my favorite price.
Look what they created!

This is Nevie's Space Tot Book. It's half the size of Chloe's, but it covers counting and shapes. She gets to count star stickers 1-10. She also dictated a wish for a star.
Chloe's Lapbook was more Scientific. She learned planets and did a lot of writing for this Lapbook. Look inside . . . .
She worked hard on it!
We also borrowed a teacher pack from the Library and we played with plastic spacecraft and astronauts.
Here is A poem it contained (from Libraries Unlimited, Full Speed Ahead, by Jan Irving and Robin Currie,1998,page 152-153)
Five little astronauts sitting on the stars
The 1st one said, "Lets go to Mars."
The 2nd one said, "There are astroids over there."
The 3rd one said, "But we don't care."
The 4th one said, "Let's go up in the sky."
The 5th one said, "Let's fly,fly,fly."
Then swish went the ship into the night.
And the five little astronauts flew out of sight!"
I hope you have a blast making your Space Lapbook. |
