I'm Sick! And my Saturday Shopping Bargains
I went shopping yesterday with DH. And he suggested Chinese for afterwards, and I must've had a bad egg roll, cause now I'm sick! I even missed church, if that tells you how bad I'm feeling!
A friend of mine said she and one of her boys got sick eating at the same restaurant just a couple weeks ago. Maybe we all ought to steer clear of that place for awhile!
I have no energy to do anything, so I thought I would blog. As long as my thoughts are coherent, that is. One of the coming and going symptoms I've been having is a really bad head fog! Having trouble putting thoughts together. So this should make for some interesting reading! lol
On to my Saturday shopping recall!
Mackey's:
1 bottle French dressing: .50 cents
7 green bell peppers: 1.98
1 lb carton cherry tomatoes: 1.29
1 pkg chicken breasts 1.49/lb
Jay C Foods:
L'eggo Waffles: $1/box (I don't make waffles. With all the hassle of making them, I might as well buy!)
4 boxes Always products @ 2.99 each. With an instant rebate of $4, cost was 1.99 each
10 lb bag Idaho potatoes 2.50
4 packs of Eckrich Kielbasa, $6.00 sale price plus 2 coupons for $2.00 off. Final cost $1 each
1 gallon Kroger ice cream $2.99
1 dozen eggs .79 each
ground beef 1.49/lb
White Cheddar Cheez Its 1.49/box (DH got these. Not the best deal, but much better than regular price)
I think there might've been more, but that's all I can remember. I didn't do too badly.
When I got home, I had to work really hard to put everything in the freezers. I've been stocking up on so much meat that I've run out of room! So you won't see me posting too much on shopping sales in the near future unless it is for non freezer items.
Thankful for the Lord's abundance. :)
