Jan. 14, 2008 - Recession in 2008?

                I have been hearing much in the news lately that America is probably heading into a Recession in '08. I have been worried about the economy now for about 9 months since prices have been steadily climbing, especially for Groceries and Gas. We don't own a house, but I am very aware that the housing market has been in trouble for some time also.

                Our family has been a frugal family for 10 yrs now, although we have also went through financial changes since then so we are really needing to tighten up even more now then ever. The climbing prices for groceries and gas have really hit us hard. We are paying on average about $3.15/gallon for gas. 

                 I am really going to be buckling down even harder and making sure we can still survive a possible recession. DH works as an overnight auditor at Hampton Hotel near us and that is the only income we have. I am really thinking about doing some crafty things(what little craftyness I have) and selling them on the side to help our family. I have always been creative when it comes to saving money so I am sure we can survive the next few months or so of a financial recession and I will be blogging about all this to help out others who visit here.
