Well, we survived the first week of school.  Joshua and Jessica were glad to get back and see their friends. Garrett said it was boring and Kenzie said she didn't like walking in line and having to keep her hands to herself (she's a hugger so that was NO FUN for her).  The air was unhealthy all week due to the fires up north, so the kids could not play outside during recess or lunch break. We seem to be getting back into the schedule of things. If I could just get to bed earlier....

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Aug. Sat. afternoon We'll have a Tea Party for us girls. Hopefully Cody, Craig and Grandaddy will be willing to take the boys to MacD's or swiming so they will have a special thing to do too. Natalie, Snowanna and Becca will be here too, so it will be a pretty big party.
I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I could go home with you guys, I'll be in the middle of canning. I hope I can come down this fall. I miss being a part of my grandchildrens growing up. I don't get to see the Salem bunch very often but it's at least four or five times during the year.
So, how does it feel to have a little time when all your children are gone? I bet the house is soooo quiet. Do you have time to just sit and read or take a nap or soak in a hot bath? Probably not, huh.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thinking of your family today, wishing we could all be together. But Howard had to work today, so Aidan and I are me alone. We'll do our big dinner sunday when Howard is home. I hope you have a wonderful day. Love you all.
