Hello everyone! The teen choir concert was last night. It went really well! We had pizza before the concert. Yum! I can't wait till this weekend! That's because this weekend is Teen Choir Tour! It's going to be so much fun!
Oh yeah! Big news! I get to start pointe this summer! That is if I want to. I might decide not to start it this summer and wait until next year to do it because I am already going to take extra classes this summer. I have a quiz question for everyone! What is your favorite team? Cardinals or Cubs?

Hey everyone! I have to go soon for church. I'm all decked out in teen choir attire. We have these special dresses for the choir and the boys have to wear tuxes. Today we have to sing at both services (the 8:30 a.m one and the 11:00 a.m one). Then tonight we have our concert!
Next weekend for teen choir we go on a weekend tour. It'll be fun but exhausting! We will leave the church on the bus about 7 a.m and then drive to Six Flags and be there from 10 a.m to 5 p.m! That night we will rehearse at a church and stay with some of it's members. The next morning we will sing at the church then eat lunch there. THEN we leave and go to another church to sing at their night service. From there, we will drive home! I'm tired just thinking about it! I can't wait though!

Hey everyone! I'm back! I am going to try blogging again! Can't wait! On Tuesday and Wednesday I have Standardized Testing! I'm a little nervous. I want to do a good job. But you know what? I've studied as much as I can and no matter what, God has a reason. I also came up with my personal philosophy.

Hey guys! It’s been forever since I’ve last written! I started a lot of things this week. First of all I started at a new dance academy. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! The teacher is really nice and they really tell you how to do something without tearing you down. I’m a bit sore right now since I got home maybe a half an hour ago. I also started theater today. We are doing The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. I can’t wait till we get cast. I am hoping to be one of the bullies or maybe the narrator or maybe the girl who is mean but pretends to be sweet. I just want a really funny part! Maybe one that doesn’t have to be shy or sweet all the time. Now don’t get me wrong. I love the parts I’ve had in the past but every once in awhile a change is good. Hi guys! Everything is working properly now so you can post comments.! I would like to thank willow for making my blog background! If you ever need a background she’s the one to go to! THANKS WILLOW! Well, I am changing ballet Academies this year. My friend is changing with me and we both had to go a dance a bit for the owner of the company so she could see what class to put us in. She’s really nice! My friend and I are going to take a ballet class for a month or so before she will put us back on pointe. There were a few things she said she would like to fix like not dropping our ribcages. Over all it went well. There is a cat named Mrs. Gray that lives in the academy. She greets everyone that enters the studio and she also walks up and down the bar during class as if she was the teacher. Hahaha! She is sooooooooooo cute and funny! I better go! funkymonkey |

Yes I'm alive! I have alot to tell you!
I have was looking for a song to sing at auditions for The Sound Of Music but couldn't find the song I wanted. I finally had to pick another song but it is just as good as the first one. It's from the Phantom of the Opera and called "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again." I LOVE that song!
I had alot of fun at my grandma and grandpa's house! I played in the creek and rode my bike up a HUGE hill they have and then I would ride back down going REALLY fast! It was so much fun! I also went to the zoo and to the movies. I am so glad to be home now though. A week away is enough for me. At least for now.

I am packing to go stay with my grandparents for a week. We leave tomorrow so I won't be posting another entry till next week.
Here is chapter 2 of my book. Enjoy!
Chapter 2 Mr. Phelps! “Hello Christina Ballerina.” Mr. Phelps greeted me. His voice was absolutely sickening. It was deep and slow as if a turtle was talking. “My name is Chris,” I clenched my teeth in anger and annoyance, “and I’m not a ballerina.” “Christina Michelle Hotkins!” my mother shrieked. “Uh oh.” I thought. I knew what the middle name meant. “Apologize to Mr. Phelps at once!” ordered my father. “Sorry.” I mumbled. I didn’t mean it one bit though. “Open your mouth like a crocodile.” Mr. Phelps told me. I rolled my eyes but did as I was told. After sitting in the chair for about 10 minutes I got bored (and annoyed with Mr. Phelps for sticking his hand in my mouth). So, to make something interesting happen I bit down on Mr. Phelps’s finger. Boy did I get what I bargained for! When I did, Mr. Phelps Yelled and jumped back in surprise (and in pain too because I bit kinda’ hard). He jumped back so far and with such force that he knocked over a wrack of magazines he had for the parents to read while in the room. All the magazines avalanched on top of him so that when they had finished all you could see of him was his head. As the magazines fell his arm knocked against a table that held a fish bowl. The goldfish bowl fell and landed upside down on Mr. Phelps’s head! He looked extremely, positively, exceedingly, unbearably, hilarious! Being nothing but a pile of magazines with a fish bowl stuck on his head and all. I started to snicker. Then the snickers turned into giggles. Then it came to absolute laughter! Everyone in the dentist office came running to help Mr. Tooth Head to his feet. My parents must have apologized hundreds of times before we left. My mom grabbed me tightly by the arm. Her long fingernails dug into my skin. I pressed my lips together as I felt the excruciating pain shoot through my arm and squirmed to get more comfortable. My mother dragged me to the door. I looked back and saw Mr. Phelps glaring a poisonous glare at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and tossed my head. I had won the fight.

Here is chapter one of my story. Hope you like it!
Chapter 1 The Dentist Office
I rolled my eyes as I felt the stabbing pain of my toothache. Yes I definitely had a cavity. To make matters worse my parents said my tooth would rot out if I didn’t get it fixed. To me, that sounded as fake as the story about the Easter Bunny. I has been eating loads of candy and hadn’t brushed my teeth in a week. Now I had to see Mr. Tooth Head. That’s what I call Mr. Phelps. He’s my dentist. His name is as dull as he is. In fact, he’s so dull he looks dull. What little hair he has is gray. Mr. Phelps has a dorky mustache and huge bags under his eyes as if he hasn’t slept in years! Mr. Phelps is always telling to me to brush after every meal and before I go to bed. To top that off, he wants me to brush for two minutes each time! What a time waster! Mr. Phelps gave me a pink timer so I can be sure that I brushed for two minutes. I hate it because it’s pink. I absolutely despise that color. “Oh darling you love Mr. Phelps.” said my mom. She could tell that I wasn’t happy about seeing him. She always tried to tell me what I loved and what I didn’t. “Besides, they have lots of things to keep you entertained in the waiting room.” Added my dad. My dad didn’t try to tell me what I liked and didn’t like but he was a “look on the bright side” sorta’ person. That’s great and all except for when your “look on the bright side” attitude makes you think something is and it really isn’t. “I object!” I exclaimed. “Truth is, I don’t like Mr. Phelps one bit. He’s too cheesy. They have one Highlighter Magazine in the waiting room. That’s the only entertainment. I’ve read that magazine so many times I could repeat it in my sleep. I HATE THE DENTIST!” “Christina Michelle Hotkins! That is extremely disrespectful!” scolded my dad. “Don’t stop and you’re grounded!” enforced my mom. I looked out the car window frustrated. What was I going to do with my parents? Then I saw it. The dreaded dentist office! It stood towering above me like a prison waiting for me to get locked up inside and never let out. My dad parked the car. My parents got out. “Come on sweetie.” my mom called. I sat still as a statue in fear. How as I to get out of this mess? “Get out of that car this instant!” my dad shouted. My dad had caught on to the “there is no way I’m going in there “ look I had on my face. I still sat frozen. “Don’t make me come over there young lady!” threatened my dad. I still sat. His face flushed four shades of red in anger. He stalked over to the car with long, quick strides, yanked open the car door, and carried me kicking and screaming to the front door of the dentist office. He opened the door to the dentist office and walked in. The door was closing behind us. I had to think fast! Suddenly, I had an idea. As the door closed I desperately grabbed the doorknob as tight as a lady bug clings to car going 90 miles per hour. My parents yanked and pulled at my ankles but I held fast. Finally, the door knob was yanked right out of the door. I was still clutching it as I hit the floor. My dad picked me up so fast I didn’t even have time to blink in surprise. Then before I knew what was happening my dad had slapped me down in that hideous hot pink chair which I had seen so many times I thought I would throw up. Then I saw a sight worse than the dentist office its self. A sight I never wanted to see again. Mr. Phelps!

Hey! How are we all this morning? I went to see Pirates of the That’s it for now! funkymonkey P.S Pocahontas is all done and I am sorta’ sad it’s over and sorta’ relieved. The performances went really well though. We sold out opening night and one other night! Now I have so much free time I don’t know what to do with myself. LOL! |

My brother got his Leopard Gecko today. He saved up for it and did research. It is sooooooo cute! It's a girl and her name is Peatree. I might post a pic of her in a later post.

I just got back from the convention last night at 1:00 in the morning! I am so tired! I had loads of fun at King's Island and I rode every single roller coaster in that park except for the 2 baby ones.
On the way home last night we stopped by a fireworks store and bought lots of , you guessed it (!), FIREWORKS!! We are going to blow them off at my grandpa's B-Day because his B-Day is on the 4th of July! I decided that I am going to wear all red, white, and blue on the 4th fo July. From my flip flops to my finger nails!

My family and I are getting ready to leave for Ohio tomorrow. My mom has to go to a homeschool conference on a business trip. She works for an online company called Homeschool E-store. They sell e-books. An e-book is a book on your computer. You get your book instantly, it saves shelf space, protects the book from tearing and getting kool-aid spills, and if you get your e-book from them you get it for 30% off store price! She has a blog if your parents would like to check it out. Her user name is leahlovesebooks. Anyway, enough marketing! She has been printing out e-books and flyers like Crazy!
While my mom and dad are at the convention my brother and I are going to stay with my grandma and grandpa. They are going to take us to Kings Island! Woohoo! I can't wait!

Hi everyone! First off I got a few guesses for the riddle in my last entry. The riddle was… You throw away the outside and cook the inside. You eat the outside and throw away the inside. What am I? Hey Guys! Last weekend we went to see Cars. It’s a really good movie. It was so funny! We also saw Glory Road. That movie is about the first African Americans to play NCAA basketball. I didn’t think I would like it all that much at first but it is a fantastic movie! Today at play practice my friend Kelly taught me how to play a card game called Spoons. It is so much fun! I keep on losing though because since we didn’t have spoons we just put our finger on our nose. Once someone has a certain order of cards they put their finger on their nose. The last person to put their finger on their nose loses. I always forget to look and see if anyone has their finger on their nose so I normally lose! LOL!

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I have posted! Since I am going into 7th grade I will be part of my church’s youth group. I went to the summer kick off for the youth group with my friends. It was so much fun! The teachers are really cool and there are loads of activities for the summer. At the kick off we played a game called Spud and ate an ice cream gutter! We also met lots of new people and they told us about the summer things we will do. I had a blast! Guitar is going pretty well. I am having trouble keeping my fingers from touching other strings though. You see, the sound (as you probably know) comes from the string vibrating and when your finger touches it it can’t vibrate as well and makes a weird sound. Other than that it’s going great!
