I got a guitar! I am so excited! This morning in the paper my dad saw an ad for guitars so we got one with the money I saved. It came with guitar picks, a case, a booklet, extra strings, a strap, and a D.V.D/computer C.D that has sheet music and teaches you how to play. I have been playing my new guitar all afternoon. I can only play two cords right now but it still feels cool to strum on it. I got an acoustic guitar because there are so many styles of music you can play with it. You can play blues, jazz, classical, country, and even hymns just to name a few. I am having lots of fun with it and I highly recommend the guitar to anyone looking for an instrument to play. Do you play an instrument? If so, what instrument do you play? I would love to hear from you!

Hi everyone! You are never going to believe what happened yesterday! We got in a car wreck! This is how it happened.
We were taking my brother to fencing (it was his first day back because his arm healed and he was able to get his cast off). We were just starting to turn into the parking lot when we heard a big BOOM and felt a hard jolt. I was the first one to realize we had been hit so I told my mom what had happened. My brother (who was in the back seat) had banged his head really hard against the window.
When the guy came up to us, he told us that he had turned his head away for a second because there was a guy mowing on a hill and he was afarid the guy would fall because he was so tilted to the side. Then when he turned his head back to the road he hit us. I never heard someone apologize so much in my life!
Luckily the damage isn't as bad as what it could have been. We are all o.k, just a bit sore.

I had the best time today at my grandma's house! Infact, my family and I just got back from there. My cousins were there and since it was so hot my uncle brought us water balloons! We had a water balloon fight! After that we ate lunch.
My cousins and I played outside all day. My brother and I brought our bikes and he brought his ramp and skateboard too. Well after we skateboarded and biked all the boys started to go up the ramp on their bikes and jump off it. I (after gathering my courage) decided to jump off it too. Well I didn't know that when you jump a ramp you have to pull up on your bike handles so you don't flip over. Since I didn't know that, I leaned forward on my bike as I jumped the ramp. I did a front flip of the ramp and landed on the grass with my bike on top of me! My cousins and grandpa who had been sitting on the stairs at the time rushed to me and my aunt who had been walking by (luckily I didn't hit her) couldn't move. You will never guess what I did. I jumped right up and said, "That was awsome!!!" I do know though that I am very lucky I didn't break anything or at least come out with more scrapes than what I did (I only have a tiny scrape on my elbow).

Hey everyone! I just got back from the last meeting of the girls group at church. Well, that is until fall. We dont have girls group in the summer. It was so fun! We had lots of games and we made our own ice cream! We also had Reeces, Malt Balls, brownie chunks, M&Ms, and cookie dough to put on top of our ice cream. I got my costume for the ballet recital yesterday. It is really pretty! Its blue with flowers scattered on the skirt and rimming the top. It also has a flower hair piece. We got to wear our costumes for class. I can't wait until recital! Well I better go! funkymonkey |

I am so excited! The cast list has been posted and I got a speaking part! I am a settler girl named Carolina. Ducttape is also a settler girl. Her name is Esther Finley.
Both of our brothers got a settler boy. My friend from church got the Raven!

You will never guess! My friend that moved to China is coming home for part of the summer!!!! I am so excited! It has been so long since I have seen her. It is still along way off until she comes but I will be counting down the days.

I went to auditions yesterday and they went pretty good. I will see if I am in on Tuesday so I am looking forward to Tuesday.
My friend Sawyer (ducttape) is going to callbacks! That is where you basically try out again and they see what part they would like you to have. Callbacks normally mean you have a good chance of getting a good part! That is unless they already know what part they want you for.
So Congrats Sawyer!

I can't type for long because I have to leave soon for auditions. I am auditioning for a summer musical. It is Pocahontas. I can't wait! I hope I get in the musical.
I only get nervous about singing at auditions (I have to sing part of a song). I don't know why. I guess I just want to get a singing part and for some reason I always get nervous when singing for anybody in particular. For instance I would be nervous singing for my grandpa but not for an audience. Weird huh?

Today my dad and I went to look at guitars. We found one that would probably be right for me. I can't wait to get one! Of course I'm sure that you've probably guessed that by now. LOL!
Next week at my girls group at church we are going to make our own ice cream! Our leader is going to bring toppings like brownie chunks, Reeces, and chocolate chips! Sugar (I LOVE sugar)!

O.k. So you have probably already guessed from the title of this entry that I am REALLY STRESSED. I don't know why. I mean, we aren't doing all of our school right now and the musical is over (it went great!). I guess my brain went on shutdown mode. I feel like my list of things to do is never ending and I never get everything done. A good example is tonight. I had a ballet practice and had a hard time getting all the way up onto the box (the very tip) of my pointe shoes. My feet felt so weak. That's because I haven't been practicing because that is one of the things on my "to do list" that never getts done. I need a break! Lucky for me we get one in two weeks.
Do any of you ever feel like this? If so, what do you do to turn your brain on so everything getts done? I would love to hear your comments!

I am so excited! Tonight is the kids choir musical! We will be leaving soon for church so we can perform some of the songs in morning service. Then maybe more people will come and see the musical!
My grandma and grandpa are here from out of town to see my brother and I in the musical. My cat is NOT happy about that. That's because my grandparents get to sleep in my parent's bed which means that she can't lay on the end of the bed as normal. She is soooo spoiled!
I had a Great Expectations practice yesterday. we learned the dance to "We Are Family"! It was really fun.

Hey everyone! Last night I had a practice for Great Expectations. It's a show choir! A show choir is when you sing and dance. The songs are neat too! One of the songs we sing and dance too is "He Lives In You" from The Lion King the Broadway version!
We are about to do the kids musical at my church. We will perform it Sunday.
I can't wait till we get to perform!

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted! I keep forgetting and when I remember I can't blog because I am busy. Well anyway, I'm blogging! I have been working like crazy on a story I am writing. It's coming along great! I hope that I will finish it soon because if I DO finish, it will be the first chapter book I have ever completed. It is only 5 weeks until my dance recital! I am very excited because it will be my first recital on pointe! Also, because my dance class has only two other girls in it besides me, we each get a small dance solo! I am very very very happy! Of course Im sure you have guessed that by now. LOL! Well I got 2 go! funkymonkey

HAPPY EASTER!
Hi everyone! I hope that you all had a fun Easter. Mine was great. First my family and I went to church. After church we had a cook out with reletives and my brother and I got to hide the Easter eggs for our little cousins to find! Then my brother and I played a game of soccer and gave each other rides in a wheel barrel! LOL! It was really fun.
