Hi Josh here,

For my 12th birthday we played laser tag, The first game we played had two teams, one team had to plant a bomb on top of a weapons crate and make sure no one disarmed it. Our team lost at that game. After that we played capture the Fort, we were the defenders and had to hold the fort for 30 minutes. The last game was a Free For All, I teamed up with my freind Nathan, our team came 2nd, we would have been 1st, because we thought everyone was dead so we headed back to the house, when we went through the gate we heard someone shooting at us, so we dived for cover. Nathan killed Sam but then Sam's teammate killed him. I was just about to kill Sam's teammate when one of the managers ( who where not playing in the Free For All ) shot me, lol!

Sorry I havent written for a long time. A couple of days ago we got a phone call about someone wanting to buy Winter, so they came over to have a look at him, They were a family that had three girls and no boys, they seemed to be nice people and they liked the cat so we sold him to them along with his bed, litter box and food for $350. Sean really miss's him alot, he cried when we sold the cat, but someone was going to buy him sooner or later, and Mum wanted it to be sooner!

My mum loves ER she'a been watching it for abot 11 years!! anyway she got the eighth season for Hanukah, Hanukah is a jewish Holiday, When she finished season eight, she asked Dad to buy her the next Season!!!!!!!!! Me and mum have watched almost all Episodes of season 9.

This morning While I was looking for some cleaning soap I thought I saw a mouse in the cupboard. Mum said it was probably a Lizard, So I went on looking and suddenly this darted out of the cupboard heading strait for the frige. He was almost there when I grabed him, And then he bite me on the finger and i let go of him and he ran under the frige. Then Shannon and I started to move the frige, and then he ran under the dishwasher. When we move the dish washer he was gone, So we gave up looking for him.

Last night me and dad played on the computer till about midnight. It was so fun, we played this game called runescape. I had found out about it from my freinds, Dad had made his character firt so he helped me finish some Quests. This morning I didn't wake up till 8:46AM!!!!!

This is an update on my my favourite little kitten, Winter!

The fisrt naughty thing winter has done is this: He was playing with me in my room, when Shannon put her guinea pig on the floor in the hallway, and the cat tryed to eat it!! Thankfully the guineapig wasn't hurt.

 The next worst thing he did was yet to come. It was a couple of days after:  we lost Aya Mousington ( Wich is my baby sister's favourite stuffed toy ) and Mum asked me to check out were the cat pee smell was coming from, so i looked under my bed......., and there was Aya Mousington covered in cat pee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL. We put it in the wash before Miriam could cuddle it. After it went through the wash, it still smelled like cat pee, but she slept with it anyway!!!!!!!

Yesterday morning we went to the homeschool break-up party at the Redcliffe Lagoon.

 When we got there, we had a swim and had lunch. After lunch I chatted with some of my friends about computer games etc..., 

All the other homeschoolers in our area are on holidays now, but not us, because in America when Mum was pregnant with the twins, we took a 3 month holiday!!!!! So now we have to do extra schoolwork this year. After we finished playing, we went home.

 I  read some of my book and watched the Waltons with my  family until dinner.

Today we made shirts for Christmas.  We are going to wear them to our grandmother's house for Christmas Eve. I put a picture of the Cross on mine, and painted on some stars. After they finish drying, we are going to decorate them with beads and glitter. ( Winter just  jumped on the table and nearly ruined our shirts!!!)

This year we are haveing Thankssgiving even though its an american Holiday. We are inviting The Abrahams, Caleb Hay and his Mum, and a japanese student To Thanksgiving. Mum is going to bake pies and pastrys (yum). We are make Thanksgiving lapbooks as a School project. I Think Thankgiving will be alot of fun this year.

Hi, Josh again!

A couple of days ago we went to a party at my Grandfather's house. When we got there, I played soccer with my 16-year-old cousin, and he beat me two :  zero!!!!

After we played soccer, we went swimming, and had a water fight. Matthew hit me right in the head with the ball, and then I threw a piece of wet noodle at him, and it hit him in the chest! Then Caleb ( who was getting picked up by his mum that night) threw another piece of noodle at me and it hit. After we ran out of ammo, Matthew started dunking me! After we got out of the pool, we had dinner.   Later, we watched a movie and then went home.

Last night one of mums old freinds came over at 7:00PM with her son Caleb. When they arived I was kind of shy and said " Hi my names Joshua, do you want to see my room?".When we entered my room he said "cool you've got the Milleium Falcon". I said " yeah, I've got the ARC-170 starfighter as well". Anyway after I finished showing him my lego I asked him if he liked starwars and he said he did. So I showed him our starwars computer games! After we looked at the computer games it was dinner time and we sat next to each other at the dinnertable and talked while we ate. after dinner I showed him the Xbox360,(Like I said I would in my last entry).We played on the xbox for a little whlie and then they had to go.

But he's coming over for a sleepover tomorrow night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Tonight Mum has invited some old friends of her's over for dinner. She says that we met them when I was five years old, so I don't remember them. The have a boy in there family that is the same age as me, I think its going to be alot of fun having a boy my age to play with( on the xbox 360). I'll tell you guys what happens on my next entry.

Hi, Josh here!

2 days ago, when Mum was driving home, she noticed a light flashing on the dash board. She said that the car was low on oil. 

When we got home, Dad and I checked the oil and found out that the oil container was full. Dad said that the oil might not be going to the engine. Mum called the tow truck, so they could take the van to the mechanics, because Mum didn't want to risk damaging the car by driving it.

Well, the tow truck came and started to pull the van (Ford Transit 12-passenger van) up on to the back of the truck, when the guy realized that the car was too big. So we had to get a bigger truck to tow our car to the mechanics. Mum called the mechanics and asked if they could come over here instead, and they agreed. When they got here, they checked out the car and found out that the car's engine light had come on, and not the oil light!  The mechanics took the car to their repair station and fixed the problem.

But Mum couldn't take Winter to the vet to be desexed!! (Yes!!!!!!!!!!)

Hi, Josh again

This is an update on the things my cat, Winter, has been up to this week,

Winter is getting desexed tomorrow, because he's been marking his territory in mum's closet. Yesterday he got outside and he chased the dog around the house and played with him, but thankfully they didn't  fight with each other.  I was so worried that if the dog got angry with the cat, he would hurt it, so i supervised their play. It ended with the dog stepping on the cat and the cat running into the house.

My music teacher Sam heard on the radio about a contest. The winner of the contest would win a free car!!

You had to keep your hand on the car as long as you can, and the last one with his hand on the car wins. Sam applied and he got into the contest. It started on Friday morning at 10:30AM. You were only allowed to take 4 ten minute breaks every twenty-four hours.

200 people were in the contest on Friday. On Saturday,  there were 180 people left.  On Sunday there were 100 , on Monday there were 25, on tuesday morning there were 10 people left.

Sam was the last one at his particular dealership, but the contest was city-wide.  Unfortunately, Sam took his hand off the car when his parents came to visit him. When some of the people from church picked him up, they took him to KFC to celebrate.  He was so tired, he was hallucinating. He said that he was in Germany, and on the way to his house, he said he had to put on his helmet so he could see the bad transformers. When he got home, he and his friend were playing on their gutairs and Sam said his friend's grandmother was suspended from the roof trying to get his guitar lol!! Anyway, when he came over for music lessons yesterday, he was ok, but we thought he would still be sleeping, becauses he hadn't slept for 72 hours!!!!!!!

Hi, this is the story of how I and my family came about getting a $450 cat!

One Sunday morning, while mum was at church, Sean and I decided we wanted to play in the shed. When we opened the shed door, we saw a cat hiding in one of the shelves in the shed.  We decided to see if it was friendly.  I slowly approached the cat and tried to pick it up, but it ran away from me. So we decided to see, if dad would help us. So Sean went inside and told Dad and Shannon.  

Shannon, the animal lover, raced outside and ran into the shed. Then she approached the cat slowly, saying soothing words and picked it up. She was covered in fleas and looked sick, so we took her to the vet.  There we found out that she was pregnant.  We also learnt tha she was a rare breed, a Devon Rex.

 After we took her to the vet we rang up the nearest  Devon Rex breeder. We gave her to the breeder, because the cat didn't like little kids. When the kittens were born, we helped sell them.  We couldn't keep them, because they weren't pure Devon Rexes, and mom is allergic to longer haired cats.  But the breeder promised us a kitten from the next litter.

 The second batch had 4 boys and 1girl, 2 of the boys were cream color and the girl was black. We choose one of the cream ones and named him Winter, and that is how we got a $450 cat for free.

Hi, Josh again

On sunday afternoon mum decided that it was time to clean up the backyard ( becauses we had'nt cleaned it up in ages).So she gave us different jobs, like I do the little mower and dad does the ride on mower, to mow the yard , while mum and the rest of the kids raked up the grass that the mowers left, after i got tired of pushing the mower mum took over and I helped the kids with the rakeing, there where hundred's of insects and it was a blazing hot afternoon. We wored for an hour or so on those jobs and finally finished them, then we had to take the grass clippings and put them under the trees, after dad finished the mowing he used the wipper snipper to mow the edges of the lawn, after we finished the work we took some showers had dinner and went to bed.

Hi, it's Josh again,

My Mum says she wants me to read the whole Bible from cover to cover before my thirteenth birthday!

That is only a year and five months away!   I read at least one chapter a day, sometimes two or three.

 Mum says, if I am going to read the whole Bible before my thirteenth birthday, I'll have to start reading at least four or five chapters a day. I have to finish reading my whole Bible before I can join the air force cadets! So I am desperatly trying to read at least four chapters a day. I would really appreciate some prayer.

Hi, it's Josh again!

Yesterday I had piano lessons with my music teacher, Sam. I'm learning to play Open The Eyes Of My hHart, and I already know how to play: Fur Elise, Your Love Is Amazing, Pour My Love On You,Then Sings My Soul, These Are The Days of Elijah and History Maker.

Well, after my lesson Sam allways gives us a lollipop each, but when I tried to crunch the lolipop, one of my teeth came out , but I thought it was  a piece of candy!  At first I tried to eat the whole "lollipop", and then I felt that some of it  was stuck in my mouth and I couldn't chew it. So I took it out of my mouth only to find that I tried to eat my own tooth!

That is how I lost my 15th tooth.

Some of my famliy live in Austria because my Mum is Austrian, so I was very excited to meet them.

Last night, my cousin and her husband came over to our grandmother's house. All the family was inviited.There was cake, crackers, ice cream and pizza to eat. 

Most of the adult s had beer and wine to drink. Austrians love wine. My parents only had half a glass to be polite (Mum said I had to add this bit!!)  There were also some drinks for the kids like sprite and apple juice, but i prefer coca-cola.

I played a game of chess against my younger sister. I beat her, of course even, though she tried to cheat. Then we played several games of king's corners, and war ( my youngersister beat me at war big time).   After we had dinner and played a few games we had some dessert and went  home .

My sister who was still awake challenged me to another game  of war, and she beat me again.

Then mum said it was time for bed, so I went to bed. I got my head in a book and read for a little while., and then fell asleep.
