A common sight at our house during lunch is my three darlings around the table with a fork in one hand and a book in the other.  I've come to believe they can't eat lunch without one.  I would like to share some of our favorites with anyone looking for  a  suggestion.  I'll start with one of my favorites...

The Island of Heavenly Daze series by Lori Copeland and Angela Elwell Hunt .  I guarentee you will find yourself thinking of the characters as though they are friends.  I had a hard time when I got to the end of the fifth book and realized that I would no longer have a window into the lives of the people of this New England island.  This is a series for anyone who loves the Mitford Series.  I would recommend getting all five books at once because you will finish one and immediately be looking for the next.  Hope they touch you as they did me.
