Well as I sit and write this at 10PM on Sunday night, I am wrapping my brain around the fact that tomorrow is our first day!  Where did my summer go?  I am beginning to admit that taking too much time off isn't just bad for the kids, but bad for the momma, too.  I do think the fact that I have a sore throat and ear infections going on aren't helping matters.  I work as a professional photographer, and I have client orders and work on the computer hanging over me as well, and I would have liked to have a clean slate before starting school.  Oh well...

Maybe what amazes me the most is the fact that tomorrow begins our 8th year in our journey of homeschooling.  I can honestly say that I just don't know where the years went.  What happened to having a Kinder and 2nd grader with a toddler running under foot to having a sophmore, 7th and 5th grader.  What I do know is this...I did not make it this far, rather the Lord has brought me this far and it is only by His grace that I am able to continue.
