Loving One Another

I am So Thankful for My Sweetheart!

We both enjoy working on our homestead together. We love outdoor work in the yard and garden throughout the different seasons. Oh, how our blessings have multiplied -just like the bunnies that we raise! Home schooling our children and seeing them develop into godly, responsible adults has certainly enriched our lives together. It's a enjoy doing things for one another. While I was decorating a homemade cherry cheesecake with fluffy whipped cream (lattice work across the top) for my husband -he arrived home from work and surprised me with a bouquet of red roses, a lovely, loving card and 2 miniature rose bushes to add to our garden!   Thank You dearest! OX

There are so many reminders of God's love about us each day!

God's mercy and new grace is mine each morning!  Our family circle is strengthened by  our love for each other as we draw upon the love of God and follow His  example!  Our words of encouragement, helpful deeds, completed chores,  and prayer support for each other  is living, breathing LOVE!

While the world's marketplace sells manufactured symbols of affection they are no substitutes for the rich,  deepdown  compassion  that we can have for another! That love that puts a song in my mouth while I am washing dishes and piles of dirty laundry, that keeps my husband faithfully laboring each day, that dissolves all the selfish plans & ambitions, silences the complaints and criticism, and creates patience and understanding actually comes from the very  heart of God!

How beautiful! I praise God for our strong marriage too - two imperfect people who love and accept eachother as we are, yet knit perfectly together to make eachother better.

Blessings to you and yours, Jane

Apr. 8, 2007 - Hello

Posted by larkspur

Please forgive me for taking so long to pop in and say hello. I have not been active on my homeschool blog in awhile and I was pleasantly surprised to see that you had dropped in and visited while I was away . Only read over a couple of your posts here on you blog... but I loved your story and admonition about visiting neighbors and shut ins in your community. It sounds like you are a blessed family and love to serve Jesus by loving and serving others. I look forward to getting to know you.

... The Gardener ...

Whether we eat, drink, study, or do our chores, we desire to glorify God! Our family of five is striving to be examples of true Bible believers "in word and in deed"-with the help of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! My two eldest children are sons that are homeschool graduates attending a christian university taking courses in engineering, computer science etc. (fun classes like Calculus 3-who would have thought!) My daughter is now a high school senior! We all love her violin music! When my husband is not working on gas turbines for GE, he is busy with all of us maintaining our country home and rabbitry. We have been raising purebred rabbits for 14 yrs. and are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Assoc. with 120 bunnies (that number varies day to day!) I hope we can get acquainted real soon !
