Aug. 26, 2007~ Just a day...but a great one! ~
Today was a terrific day. It was filled with friends, laughter, food and fun.
A group of us from our church are going to recreate the skit I shared with all of you called Dancing with Jesus. It is in the blog titled Who Do You Dance With if you want to check it out. It is done to Lifehouse's Everything.
Anyway, we got together here for practice and food. It was a wonderful afternoon. Those of us that are in it practiced and laughed and then practiced again...did we laugh or practice more??? Sarah-our wonderful director- is so talented and really just pulled us together in such a way that we actually looked pretty good!
The men that were not involved went out shooting-what, I am not sure but they were men and shot things up. The kids were playing and having a good ol' time just being kids.
This was just one of those days that when everything is said and done you sit back and smile. I love that!
I love those days when there has been activity and friends and blessings...and the day ends with rest and a smile. I am thankful for that as well!
