Jan. 20, 2008~ Not much of a day- ~
but it was a good one.
I have to say I am feeling a bit dry right now. Maybe I feel spent because we have had so much company. Maybe I need to rest and recharge my batteries. Maybe I need to sleep.
But maybe, just maybe, I need to find a quiet spot and spend some time with God. Yes, I am sure that is what I need to do. I can feel a deep yearning as I write this. One that nothing else will fill. Why do I always forget such a simple answer to this question over and over again?
So I will leave you with this challenge-
If you are tired. If you have had just one of those days. If you are just feeling a bit out of sorts. Take 15 minutes-less time than we spend blogging if we want to tell the truth- and get on your knees, talk to you Father and read His word. It will be better than chocolate, I promise!
I am now off to take my own advice...
We are a family of 9. We have home schooled since 1990. Our oldest 3 have graduated and are off on their own. So now we have a 10th,8th,6th and 4th grader. Our main goal as we have walked this path for a while now is to have a strong tight bond with our children and to have them love the Lord. We enjoy various ways of schooling mainly sticking to a Charlotte Mason path.
