I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!

Oct. 28, 2008~ Tightwad Tuesday ~
Here is my tightwad tip- I am not sure if it saves money but it does save time and we all need a bit more of that, huh? So , here goes-
When making applesauce/butter or something like that, that needs cooking down, put in your crockpot and let cook on low overnight. Then in the morning when you get up it will be all ready to can.
Hello! Love your AG doll clothes! What talent. I with great sadness pack the girls dolls and all the homemade clothes in a keepsake box yesterday. The dolls have sat on the shelve for a long time. They are no longer played with. So we packed them to keep them for the next generation. The apple butter idea sounds great. I will have to try it.
The thing I have found with a crockpot vs the stove is it WONT burn. That alone is a savings !! And makes it easy so I will do it again, lol. I use to hate making apple butter until I made it in a crock pot. Now I love making apple butter. [0= Crockpots do save lots of money. I am now saving up money for a electic skillet. There are things you can make in it and it is so much cheaper than using the oven. So between a crockpot and electric skillet cooking will be so much cheaper. [0=
Thank you for joining this week !!! (((((((HUGS)))))))
