I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!

May. 22, 2009~ Happy New Year!! ~
I know, I know. It is not officially the new year. I think it should be though. New life coming into force all around us---what could be more new than that?
The garden has officially begun to look like a garden not just some boxes filled with dirt and scraps of last years growth.
So far I have planted several rows of onions, several hundred corn seeds and about 50 bean plants as well as a long row of carrots and cabbage. In the raised beds I have yellow and green summer squash, asparagus- purple and green- tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, chives, lettuce, spinach, strawberries and some rather pretty little marigolds!
I will post pictures asap.
I have also started on Christmas gifts but because I am not sure who is reading this I better not say what they are... ;0)
All is well in my little neck of the woods and that is the way I love it! I am feeling beyond blessed, God is so good all the time and I see His hand in everything, but I must admit to feeling extra content and peaceful during times such as this. I feel I could not hardly want for more. My children are all doing well. Though they live a distance away and I wish I could spend more time with them I love my new son and am so very thankful for how well he takes care of my daughter. I am thrilled to have grandchildren and looking forward to a new little one in October. I am filled with joy at the amount of time I get to spend with the rest of my children, their friends and that our home home is filled with love and laughter and that Christ is in the center.
All I can say right now is "Praise be to God, now and forever more, in all my circumstances let me remember your favors and that your will always be done"
I am a wife to a man who can do everything (Lovingly referred to as MacGyver), mom of 10 (1 married in, 1 almost married in and one adopted in) and a Nana to 4.
I am all about growing in Christ, family, handcrafts and the art of homemaking. My newest passion is knitting.
We live on a small homestead in NE Washington. Raising pigs, chickens and goats, growing a garden and revamping an older home.
