Emma Update

Posted in Emma

Please remember to pray for little Emma and her mom.  Today she was able to jump off the ventilator for a short time.  She was not able to breathe well so now the doctors are talking about a trach.  My heart really goes out not only to Emma but to her mom too.  It is so hard seeing other babies around you getting better and going home...sometimes to parents who do not seem fit.  It reminds me of something my dear mother-in-law always said..."There ain't much fair in this ol' world."  Boy...that's the truth!!  So, when you are praying for Emma, please remember to pray for her mom too.

Could you pass on this note to the family for me...

Last night our Pastor was talking about a family in our church who wrote out Scripture verses about healing and life and taped them onto their babies bassinet while he was in NICU. It took the focus off of all the tubes, wires and machines and put it on the Word of God and the truth he promises us. Their little boy is now a walking miracle. He shouldn't be here by medical terms, but he is a perfect 9 year old boy today! God is great and he is able to do so much more than we can even imagine... tell them to stand on HIS report...

Please let them know that I will be praying.

Blessings,
Theresa

Jun. 22, 2006 - Praying....

Posted by LittleEblingsAcademy

We will be praying for Sweet Little Emma!!

Our little guy, Malakai, was in the NICU with meningitis and I will never forget those wee ones -- the ones who thrived and grew strong AND the ones who held on by a thread and took tiny steps towards strength. Malakai, thank You, Lord, is a fighter -- he is now 18 months old and doing wonderfully.

Standing in prayer,
Beckie
