Blessed/Plants

I am blessed beyond measure. As I have joined HSB I have gotten so many good  ideas from you moms out there that I have seen a change in my boys(mainly on the topic of school in the summer). There attitudes on getting the work done so we can play has changed for the better. My oldest son has a friend who told me  when she was in school as she mastered different things in class her teacher would keep a star chart ( addition facts,subtraction facts ,sight words and for my kids Alphabet recognition) I was in awe(Thank you ,Jesus), I had never even thought of that so this morning I made a few charts so the boys could see what they have learned since the beginning of the year a what they still were working on and what they will be focusing on. They love the charts full of color and they can pick their own style of stickers to mark off what they have mastered. I love their excitement now.

Now on another note my birthday was yesterday and my oldest boy and his friend(I pray my future daughter-in-law)bought me a beautiful Trailing Snapdragon hanging basket .  I just love it ,however, I am not the best with plants. When it says to fertilize the plant every 2 weeks what do I use? and is it simple to do?

I am so glad that your school in the summer is going better. I like charts, too. Good luck with the flowers. I like easy-to-care-for plants because, like you, I am not really great with green things.

Ahhh, but if you were forgiven for the biggest mistake in your life (so far) and had moved on from it. Wouldn't someone always reminding you about it keep you from moving forward and overcoming it?

No problem at all...in looking at my daughter...I had one of those God moments. I could hear his voice and it spoke right to my heart.
