We R At War
I read an ARTICLE today that stirred my spirit. I am part of a homeschooling family. I love the fact that I can have this privilge to do so but I never thought that it meant to not be a part of my community. Everything that happens here happens to us as well even the down fall of the public school system.
Today I will take an active part in my community through the library ,the community centers, the churches, the food bank. somehow we will make a difference or people will die and miss out on Gods promise of eternity. It is up to me to do my part.
My children and I will have a day of specific prayer for our public school and everything that is taught in them and the influences around them. I hope you do the same for yours.
It is no ones fault by ours(christians)that our country is what it is.Homosexuality has been around before Christ so it is going to be an ongoing battle.....WE ARE AT WAR did we forget?
We can stand in the gap
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Time and again He has called us to seek and pray.
So whatcha gonna do?

Dust Off Our Swords!
Posted by SuzyScribbles
Yes! We are at war. We need to dust off our swords and get down on our knees to engage the real enemy in the spiritual realm, where he is wrecking havoc on lives! "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against pricipalities....in the heavenly places."
Here's a thought: The War is over. The enemy just doesn't know it yet. We can pray and act with confidence and keep on keeping on until all things are made right.
Oh, BTW, I have a 2007 graduate, too! Congrats to your son.

You are SO right ! I will pray and will pray for God to show us where he wants us involved. This was a great encouragement. It was GOOD food for thought.
God Bless my SSiC ( Sweet Sister in Christ)

Hmmm... I had never thought about praying and having prayer for the public schools, but it's a good idea. Thanks for the idea.
