Lots has happened in the past however many days of not-writing, lol. Wow. it's been a WHILE, hasn't it?? Gosh!
So I went to a revival meeting on the seventeenth (a Wednesday) with Katie, Emily, and Sammi. We got a ride from our newest friend, Tyler, who graduated with Katie and Jadon in May. It was actually his dad and grandpa doing the preaching, and WOW they were amazing! It was definetly a new experience- They're southern baptists, so they did all the "hallelujahs" and "amens" in agreement to everything, haha and they called each other "brother" and "sister." I was Sister Alyssa, hehehe. Some things they said I had a bit of a hard time with, but that's just because I'm more of a liberal christian than most people. I don't think I could ever be Southern Baptist.. I was raised Presbyterian, which is almost completely opposite. But it was cool to go.
Afterwards we all ran around with the other kids and played zombie, lol. It was so much fun!
Friday night Jadon, Emily, Katie, Sammi, Tyler, Jesse, Donnovan, Tory (Tyler's cousin and little sister) and I were all supposed to go dancing, but it was cancelled. So Emily and Katie and I had everyone over to their house for chips and root beer floats and movies. We watched Hurcules, then went to the park and acted crazy. Haha it was so much fun.
The next day we all went down to this indoor theme park thing called Mr. Biggs and hung out. Tyler and Jadon both brought friends of all sorts, so we were enough to fill three cars to the bursting by the time we all met up. I swear, we were at Biggs for five hours, playing all the arcade games and go-carts and miniature golf. We ate nasty pizza and ran around having a grand old time. Unfortunately, I got a migrane after lunch that kinda laid me low for a while. I took some ibeuprophen and drank caffiene, but still. Ick.
Emily and Katie left Sunday after church. They're on the East Coast, hanging out with family. I think currenly they're somewhere in Vermont, probably having lots of fun without me, haha. Sammi's back in Denver, but I may visit her soon *crosses fingers* I hope! I've been babysitting this past week, finally, so I'm getting some cash flow. Let's hear a Woot! for Dr. Pepper and Sunflower seeds! haha. Emily also left her bright pink iPod with me, so I've been listening to all her up-beat, peppy songs. I still miss her, though. :(
Wow. Today is such a pretty day, I can't waste any more of it indoors. I'll talk to you guys later!!!
