"KEEPING IT REAL"

Jan. 27, 2007

TRY THIS...IT'S FREE AND FUN....

For the past several years, I've enjoyed making these wintery type wreaths, that my friend Rhonda a.k.a Martha Stewart.... told me about... I thought I'd share them, since they are virtually free and lots of fun to make!  We have more in our freezer, waiting to be added to the lonely two in the picture...

Just take a round bundt pan or any baking pan with a hole in the center, fill it 1/2 way with water, add nature goodies to it, Tommie and I used:  pine-needles, birch bark, bird seed, orange peels, cranberries and sea shells....plop them in the pan...freeze until solid, then add more water to fill the pan...re-freeze.  When froze, pop it out and run a ribbon or string thru and hang up in a favorite spot to enjoy outside!

Those are neat, but if I made them here they wouldn't last an hour - it's wawrm here, but I see the lovely snow in your window picture. Thanks for sharing such a great idea :-)
